Minerva Paradizo is a character in 'Artemis Fowl and the Lost Colony'. She is a child genius, much like Artemis himself, but unlike Artemis nothing has happened to her to make her a more selfless and responsible person. She is determined to capture a demon in order to win a Nobel prize for discovering a new species and Artemis, with the aid of his bodyguard, Butler, and LEP Captain Holly Short, must foil her plans in order to protect the fairy race from discovery and exploitation by humans. On a personal note, I was disappointed that Artemis and Minerva never got any closer because Artemis clearly has feelings for her and she appears to at least like and identify with him, but it looks as if they never actually meet again because there's no mention of Minerva in 'Artemis Fowl and the Time Paradox'.

It clearly depends on the book because Artemis Fowl is part of a series, so ill just tell you a tiny tiny tiny bit.

1. in this first book, he captured the fairy Captain Holly Short from the LEPrecon. he also spoke gnomish, the usual languege fairys speak in.

2. Artemis Fowl saves the LEPrecon from being tron by Opal Koboi, and saved his father from the Russion Mafiya.

3. Artemis builds a brilliant high technology cube which he calls a C-cube, and loans (i think) to an American Jon Spiro, and Jon wants to hack Artemis's machine to get really rich!!!

4. Opal Koboi got in prison and escaped somehow, so the doctors are trying to research her, because she damaged herself. And ever since of her escape, she is going to hallucinate every fairy or human that put her in prison... Including Artemis Fow!!!

5. A demon gets missing and Artemis and Holly have to find him before the demon returns to earth violently.

6. Fowl's mother gets a deadly illness and the cure is only up to the brain fluid or the silky sifaka lemur. unfortunetly, the lemur is extinct, and Arty plans that Short should help find the lemur with him. While traveling back into time, Artemis and Holly start getting romantic by starting a kiss, but they still don't trust each other enough. Artemis has to also face his younger image and they go Artemis vs. Artemis!!!

The Seventh Artemis Fowl Book will be in stores on the 13th July 2010. It will be called The Atlantis Complex. Please note that the title is subject to change.

Odds are, it won't be coming out anytime soon. The movie has been finished with the script in 2008, and now it is almost 2011. Eoin Colfer even said that they are waiting for a green light, meaning it will take a while before stop turns to go. Even so, theres still a debate whether the movie should be animated or acted, and almost nothing is planned out. Even so, it is most likely it will be out before 2015

when opal is about to make the tunnel go "boom boom" she thinks Artemis stole the bombs and she thinks they are in his ship so she sends the charge to explode them when Artemis stole opals truffles therefore exploding her own ship she escapes and goes into hiding then is found by the LEP

"trouble" is ordered by sool (the new commander to shoot holly and Artemis' ship he doesn't and "takes them prisoner" sool eventually lets holly go the end (sorry if i spoiled the book)

Depending on the book, the rising action is all the events that lead up to the climax. For instance, in the first Artemis Fowl book, one event that would be considered rising action would be Artemis kidnapping Holly. Anything that happens from the introduction of Artemis Fowl to the final battle is considered rising action.

The Artemis fowl series was first conceived in book form, but is currently being converted into comic form (Graphic novel). There are currently 7 books in the Artemis Fowl series.The last one made is named The Atlantis Fowl.There may be an 8th book but Eoin Colfer says that its probably going to be the last book in the series.

Eoin Colfer said that he was going to write one last book in the Artemis Fowl series. this will be the eighth and the last book in the series. there is no title yet but it will probably be out sometime in 2012. or so I hope.

In the first book Holly Short, the only female recon captain, is but in the second book we learn that Artemis Fowl's father, Artemis Fowl Sr. , has been kidnapped the entire time which is why he never makes an appearance in the first novel.

'Holly,' he said, when his vision cleared. His smile was

sincere and grateful. 'You saved me again.'

Holly was laughing and crying at the same time, tears

' O f course I saved you,' she said. 'I couldn't do without

you.' And because she was happy and flushed with magic

Holly leaned down and kissed Artemis, magic sparking

around the contact like tiny fireworks.

Also we know it lasted a while because young Artemis said.

The strange newcomers were far too busy to notice them

Swipe the cage's key-card lock and open the gate door.

'Look at those two. Wasting time. You wouldn't catch

me doing that.'

And Afterwards

The corona of magic around fourteen-year-old Artemis and

Holly faded, and along with it went the dreamlike trance

insulating Artemis's mind.

Plus latter on Holly mentions how it wouldn't be so bad to be stuck the way she was, an obvious thought to hooking up with Artemis. Weird I know but the evidence is in the book. She is a little sheepish but really liked it, and Artemis who she started calling Arty.

And remember towards the end of the book Holly Short said "In another time." and then she kissed Artemis on the cheek.

Well if you really think about it...it is probably no because Artemis fowl is a strong witted and street smart prodigy and maybe his ticklish but probably not!

I enjoyed the fist Artemis Fowl book over the holidays between grade six and year seven, although I suppose it would differ from person to person. Also note that it has a bit of a slow start, so don't just put it down after a page or two.

Holly is assigned to recon an unshielded troll, her first mission after the Hamburg Affair. She then has to save people as the troll crashes into a restaurant. She defeats the troll and erases the people's memory, but when a little child comes out of the bathroom she runs out of magic and doesn't have enough to shield. Commander Root sends her to a magical hotspot to complete the Ritual.
