Hestia was born of Rhea and Cronus, her brothers are Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, her sisters Hera and Demeter. Her half siblings by Cronus and Philyra are Chiron, Bythos and Aphros.

Athena had no siblings. Athena's HALF siblings are Appollo, Ares, Dionysus, Hephaestus, Hercules, Hermes, Venus, Artemis, Eileithyia, Eris, Hebe, and Persephone,Demter.
she is an only child but has hundreds of demigod and god half siblings. her dad was zeus, and he had 200 something wives, so no wonder she has so many half siblings!

Athena was considered a goddess who could bestow great luck upon people that she liked. An example of this can be seen in The Odyssey, when Athena intervenes in Odysseus's life numerous times in order to get him home safely.

The theme of Arachne and Athena is that you should not be arrogant no matter how good you are, you should always respect your superior. We can see in the tale that Arachne many time disrespect her superior even the goddess Athene.
