is it safe for me to take both of these drugs as prescribed--both at bed time. The diazepam does make me drosey for approx 3 hours but wide awake after that. Have been taking the ambien cr later. Please advise me is they can both be taken at the same time

I assume so as my MD has me on both, 10 mg escitalopram (lexapro) once daily and 10 mg cyclobenzaprine (flexeril) 3 times daily as needed for back pain/acute muscle spasm. As a suggestion, I would not try it for the first time if I had to drive or watch children or something important as the mix could make you very sleepy.

Both medication can be taken together. However, both have similar side effects and these might be increased. If you can take a smaller dose (half) of ativan the night you take Tylenol PM, it would be the best choice.

I have been taking 1mg x 3(or)4 daily of Ativan & 20mg Citalopram for nearly 3 weeks now and other than a slightly lessened libido, all is well so far. Hope this helps. Good Luck (Obv. always check with your Dr. for advice, yada, yada....)

when my Best Friend died suddenly during Hurricane Isabelle.

No - Atenolol is a beta blocker for high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, migraines & tension or cluster headaches. Amitriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant but can also be used to treat nuropathic pain and migraines.

You dont want to ever mix any thing with crack.  It is way to harsh on your system.  Wait at least an hour after using before talking any other substance.  But Ativan has not caused any serious problems yet 

I have been taking 5-htp daily for the past 6 months along with 1mg lorazepam when I need it. I usually take the lorazepam an hour or two after my 5-htp dose and have not noticed any negative effects whatsoever. However, I can't say confirm it is 100% safe to do this.

i just did it.. the lorazapam seems more effective in the pain control ( and mental/emotional control) than was acetominophen, so far.

My Doctor has had me on Tramadol and Ativan for about a year now. I have had no problems so far. I am on 50 mg. of Tramadol taken up to 4 times a day if needed, and 1 mg. of Ativan taken up to 4 times a day if needed.

Ativan is a wonder drug for panic, anxiety and sleep. It comes in 1and 2 mg pills, and is very effective.The only problem is that most doctors do not like to prescribe it long term because they think that it is addictive or hard to stop.I have been on and off ativan for 2 years and it is quite easy to stop.The doctor only gives me 1 month supply at a time though, its very frustrating!

ABSOLUTELY NOT!! 5mg is alot of lorazepam. And 2 Tylenol pm is usually more than the directed dose. I would not take anythinggggg at all with PM in it if you are taking lorazepam. If 5mg lorazepam is not enough of an anxiolytic/sedative for you please see your doctor.
