that is exactly what i want to know is why and where is he now? i had no clue that this had happened! I've been following Brian Littrell's success but what about cousin Kevin? One would assume he's M.I.A.!

Well Kevin is probably in Boston now. He has his own studio there and he is signing new young artists!!! I mean, why the heck did he just ditch his fans all over the world...just to become a music director (instead of the worldwide famous Backstreet Boy!)??? Kevin Richardson completes the Backstreet Boys...he was the eldest, the father of the group and now he left the band to pursue other interests through which we don't even know what exactly he is doing!!! He should come back to the group...i miss him so very much... Don't you think that the BACKSTREET BOYS are incomplete without him? :'(

Kevin Richardson has a son - Mason and just announced his wife is pregnant again (Apr '13), Brian Littrell has a son - Baylee, Howie has two sons - James and Holden, AJ's got Ava and Nick's getting married soon; we'll see!

They began as a pop group, but currently sing mostly soft rock.

The Backstreet Boys is a boy band which is famous right from 1993. It's members are Nick Carter,Brian Littrell,Howie Dorough,A.J. Mclean and Kevin Richardson. Kevin left the group in 2006 after never gone tour to persue other interests.

They met on the 2010 X Factor after they auditioned as solo artists but were put together by the judges to form a group after they failed to get through boot camp on their own.

Let me add to that...... they all auditioned for the x factor and they all failed, the judges thought they wold be good as a band so the judges called them all back. They came back and met each other, talked, and the judges told them to work together and make a band. So they did, in front of judges and they liked it Alot, could not believe there eyes, but sadly they still weren't aloud back on the show. Some good news tho, all the boys were noticed and they all were surprised how they worked together and how the judges liked them so much, and how they got noticed. So they decided to all work together, as a team. After that they became more noticed, then they became famous! And now are famous and rich!

He started out the series at 7 but in "The Man with Two Brians", Lois states he is 8.

Both Nick Carter and Brian Littrell are blond.
