The Baltimore Ravens have made the playoffs 5 times. In 2000 they played in one of the wildcard spots, and advanced all the way to the Superbowl where they beat the Giants. They played again the following year and lost in the divisional round to the Steelers. They played in 2003, losing in the wildcard round to the Titans. They won their division and were the 2nd seed in the 2006 playoffs. After the bye, they lost in the divisional round to the Colts. In 2008 they were a wildcard seed (6th) and won 2 games on the road (Dolphins and Titans), before losing to the Steelers in the AFC championship game.

The Ravens have since made the playoffs an additional three seasons (2009, 2010 and 2011). They have an all-time playoff record of 10-7.

According to Nashville police, Steve McNair, former National Football League quarterback, died from a fatal gunshot wound to the head. A female body was also found at the scene of an apparent murder-suicide.

The basic colors are Purple, Black, White, and Metallic Gold.

Purple and Black are derived from the natural colors of a Raven (bird). The Gold and White colors are derived from the Official Seal of the State of Maryland.

Normally, home game uniforms are Purple Jerseys over White pants; however, on special occasions, the Ravens will wear Purple Jerseys over Black pants for a more intimidating look.

Away uniforms are usually either White on White, or White on Black.

The Ravens defeated the Giants, 34-7, in Super Bowl XXXV played January 28, 2001.

the fastest time ever recorded is 3.6 by Barry Sanders, followed by 3.9 by Joey Galloway. Devin Hester has the 3rd fastest time at 4.01 followed by alot of 4.15s

I wonder if you might give us some documentation on the time of Galloway since I have searched the Internet and can find nothing about it. Certainly someone that can run that fast, faster than Asafa Powell or Bob Hayes, would have that information documented somewhere. According to the NFL, the fastest electronically timed 40 yard dash is 4.25 by Fabian Washington. Others have run faster outside the NFL's timing, the fastest being Hester's 4.01 at Miami Pro Day and Ted Ginn Jr. who supposedly ran a 4.06 40 at OSU. Both of those times are questionable at best as no documentation is known as far as track/wind conditions. Where might we find an article that states Galloway ran a 3.9?
