Before Yankee Stadium opened in 1923, the Yankees rented from their cross-town rivals, the New York Giants and shared the space at the Polo Grounds. It depends on the level of play of course. Me being a high school coach, I would say that nearly 87% of lead off walks will score. Tha being said the head coach has to get the runner into scoring position.

MLB rules state the ball must beat the runner to the base on a force play. If the ball and the runner reach the base at the same time the runner would be considered safe. However, there are no ties in baseball. The runner either gets there before the ball or after...Ties are only a myth.....

Hotels bid for their business. Every visiting team is contacted with bids from various hotels outlining the services, security, and pricing bids each year when the new schedule is announced. They barter from there, but from my experiences, they have filled between 110 and 225 rooms, depending on the team. Certain teams are VERY concerned about security, while others aren't whatsoever. One year, three stayed at my hotel, but all of the visiting teams do not stay at the same hotel consistently Hope that helps!

Technically, you don't need any education beyond high school, many players are from foreign nations and have only high school educations. Many players do have some college experience, however, it is not required. Baseball is different than basketball and especially football in that there isn't a huge gap in physical development that must occur to become a professional. Baseball has a good minor league system to develop a lot of young players where college would train basketball and football players.

Music artists and pro sports make the equal amount of money as long as they give something to it, and they do something to earn the money.
