What animal has blood color Blue?
All mammals have bluish blood until it is oxygenated. That's one reason why veins appear blue.
What has better hearing cats or bats?
yes, ofcourse bats have better hearing then cat because they catch their prey with the help of ultra sonic sound waves while cats cannot hear ultra sonic waves up to the high as a bat does

.
You can't confuse quality and function like that. All animals (including us) hear as they do, and as well as they need to do, for the life they lead in nature, so have a hearing band-width and sensitivity to suit. Ours is 20Hz - 20kHz, at most; with a maximum useful sound-pressure range of under 100dB re 20µPa.
.
Of cats and bats, I do not know which of the two animals has the more acute hearing, but I would think it is the cat as it has larger ears even if its frequency range and band-width are lower than the bat's. Yes, the bat has to detect and analyse extremely low sound pressure levels in the echoes of its chirps, when hunting by echo-location, but that does not make it better hearing by frequency.
.
Acuity, or sensitivity to level, in animals varies with frequency to some extent within each specie's band-width, but level is not a measure of frequency.
What country does the vampire bat live in?
You Can find a bat in a cave were else yes iwould like to be a vampire and i have been bitten by a vampire bat and it does hurt like crap and you can feel the venom spreading through your vains but overall you have a big craving 4 meat watch out for the warewolfs
Is the bat a carnivorous animal?
It depends. Most bats only eat fruits (fruit bat) excpet some bats are k nown to have more carnivourous features. The vampire bat is known to drink blood of dead or alive animals as a way to drink. Yet these bats are only one species of the whole bat population.
How many kinds of bats are there in the world?
theres more species of bats in the world damm im late...
The bat is a mammal and does not have an exoskeleton. It has an internal skeleton the same as other mammals do. You will find exoskeletons on insects.
Why do bats have featherless skin between their front and back legs?
they need to have it because it is their pouch.
List of animals that live in caves?
Some animals that live in caves are bats, cave crawdads, fresh water shrimp.
The last two in fact are ina range of terrestrial and aquatic invertebrates that favour caves for at least some shelter, or indeed live all their lives underground.
Scientific name for the dark flying fox?
Most fox species belong to the red fox group, genus Vulpes. The common red fox, Vulpes vulpes, is found in Eurasia, N Africa, and North America. It is hunted for its valuable fur and, especially in England, for sport. An extremely wary animal, it is skilled at evading traps and dodging pursuers. There are many local varieties; European red foxes are larger than those of North America, which average about 23 in. (58 cm) in body length, stand about 16 in. (41 cm) at the shoulder, and weigh about 5 to 10 lb (2.3-4.6 kg). North American red foxes inhabit areas of forest mixed with open country, from the Arctic Ocean to the S United States. Although most active at night, they are also seen by day. Coat color varies, but the tail is always tipped with white, and the legs, feet, and tips of the ears are always black. The rest of the coat is commonly reddish; black, silver, and cross (reddish, with a dark, cross-shaped region on back and shoulders) are among variations that may appear in any red fox litter. Silver fox pelts, black with white-tipped outer hairs, are much in demand; many are derived from animals raised on fox farms. From the silver fox, breeders have developed a platinum fox, whose pale gray pelt is highly valued, and (in Siberia) a tame, domesticated breed.
The kit and swift foxes (V. velox and V. macrotis, respectively) are small, swift, pale gray or yellowish foxes, found on the deserts and plains of the W United States and N Mexico. Their numbers have been greatly diminished by trapping and poisoning, and they are now rare in many parts of their range. Other Vulpesspecies are found in Asia and Africa.
The gray fox, Urocyon cinereoargenteus, is a New World species; it is the only fox that sometimes climbs trees. Found from the N United States to N South America, this fox is slightly larger, on the average, than the North American red fox. Its coat is salt-and-pepper above and buff-colored below; the upper side of its tail is black. Gray foxes inhabit woods, swamps, and brushy areas that afford them cover; they are more retiring and more strictly nocturnal in their habits than red foxes. Their fur is of little value.
The arctic fox, Alopex lagopus, is found on arctic coasts and islands; it has a circumpolar distribution. Characterized by short, rounded ears and heavily furred feet, all arctic foxes are brown to gray in summer; some turn pure white in winter, while others, called blue foxes, turn bluish gray. The blue fox, a natural variant that is more common in some areas than in others, is highly valued for its pelt, and breeders have developed all-blue strains. Although their diet includes small animals and plant matter, arctic foxes are chiefly scavengers, feeding especially on the remains of polar bears' kills.
The smallest fox is the fennec, or desert fox (Fennecus zerda), of the Sahara and Arabian deserts. An excellent burrower, it has enormous ears and a fluffy pale cream coat. Other foxes (sometimes called zorros) are found in South America.

What is the Hearing frequency range for dolphin?
Dolphin sounds are usually within the hearing range of people. Echo location clicks can range up to about 150,000 Hz, that is eight times higher than the normal human hearing range. A lot of these clicks occur at frequencies as low as 2,000 Hz. So people can easily hear them with an underwater microphone, called hydrophone.
Why are insect wings and bird wings similar?
They are actually quite different! An insects wings are a fixed shape and have an ecto-skeleton (like bones) in the outside and look very much like a leaf. Often there are two pairs together which can over-lap. A birds wing has the bones on the inside and they are hollow. The feathers spread open to increase the surface area and aid in giving "lift". There really aren't many similarities at all.
Do bats have bilateral symmetry?
Yes. Bats, like all mammals and other vertebrates, have bilateral symmetry. Bilateral symmetry means something has symmetry across one plane (known as the sagittal plane, and directly down the centre of their body), which means one side of their body approximately mirrors the other side.
What do flying bats look like?
Bats do not nest. Bats hang upside down in dark caves, but they do not build nests.
obserd bats make nests where do you think their newborn babies are going to stay because they can't fly. If there weren't nest they would probably just fall to the cave floor.
BATS DO INDEED MAKE NESTS.
Why insects can not fly although they have wings?
i think black cane beetles can't fly because there a type of spider and spiders can't fly
Is a bat nocturnal or crepuscular?
Most aren't and are instead nocturnal, coming out at night, but most fruit bats do come out in the day.
You know bees can transfer pollen but can bats do the same?
Yes, actually bats can transfer pollen from one plant to another. The plants depend on bees, bats, and butterflies to do this because they are unable to move.
What animals hang upside down?
There are probably are few monkeys that do, but I know a certain animal. It is called a markie( Probably not spelt right). If not it is another cat that I'm sure lives in the rainforest.
Monkeys and sloths and some kinds of leopards...
Feeding batfish can be problematic. Sadly, many never take to eating in captivity. Live prey works best, especially crustaceans. Eventually, a batfish may learn to take frozen shrimp or mycids. Small snails, worms, and feeder fish may also be offered.

How has the flying fox bat adapted to its envionment?
First the flying fox says goodbye to his mommy. Then he puts on his coat and grabs his camo binoculars. Then, using a turkey mating call, summons the power of dogs all across the world. Fish jump into the foxes mouth. And THAT children, is how a flying fox finds its food.
Bats do build nest, do to scientist they really do build nests.
Are Ghost bats are threatened?
They aren't threatened as being a ghost you are quite transluscent and do have the ability to pass through solid objects. They're not threatened unless they're alive. They're not threatened because they're already ghosts and dead. They're not threatened according to Britanica's Encyclopedia. No thanks is needed, you're welcome.
Echolocation is useful because it helps bats, shrews, dolphins/whales etc. It has evolved to allow the animals to "see" around them in the night (bats) or in murky water (dolphins/whales) otherwise these animals would have died
