No - it can blind.Yes it is safe.Every firearm is safe as long as the operator of the firearm handles it a safe and thoughtful manner.I have had my 9 year old grandson shooting a daisy BB gun for the last 2 years,under my supervision.He is learning the safe way to handle firearms,whether loaded,or not!I am now ready to move him up to a single shot .22cal rifle.He has progressed quite well,and I believe he is ready for the next step in his firearm training.By the age of 11,he will be ready to take his hunter safety course,and then he will be able to go afield with me.As adults WE must take the time to educate our children,grandchildren in the safe and correct method of handling all types of firearms.It is my opinion parents just look at to many items as a built in babysitter to entertain their children,without the proper instruction as to there safe use.

The only thing that can kill with a BB ball is a small squirrel and a chipmunk and small birds.But with the pellets you can kill small game and game birds(only if your BB gun is a shotgun can only use a shotgun to kill birds because it is against the law to kill birds with a bow and arrow,crossbow,hand gun and , rifle.

OK now we move on to the pellets. If you buy the pellets you can kill anything ranging from chipmunk to coyote. BB guns can only hunt small game so when you buy a BB gun look at the packing and see if it can be used for small game hunting and remember BB shotgun only...if you want to hunt game birds.

No one that I have ever came across makes FAKE BB Guns. What would be the purpose? However if you really mean FALKE BB guns then that is a different question. Falke has been out of business sense 1961. There were very few of them made compared to other companies that prospered. Most all that still exist and are in working order, are in collectors hands.,

If you are asking about airguns in general not just BB guns, but Pellet guns also. The family of PCP air guns. (Precharged Pneumatic Guns (PCPs) these use a scuba tank to charge the rifle. They can shoot up to a 50 cal bullet and bring down a Moose. As for BB guns alone most will fall into the under 500 feet per second group. Where Pellet rifles can exceed 1000 feet per second. BB guns/rifles are not as accurate as pellet guns/rifles. Because BB guns use a smooth boar barrel where pellet guns use rifling in the barrel.

A regular BB gun can not shoot air-soft pellets. BB guns shoot a .175 BB. Air guns shoot a much larger 6MM BB.
