Don't confuse BB guns with Pellet guns.

FPS stands for "Feet Per Second." The slowest BB gun I know of is the Marksman 1010 Classic it's rated at 200 FPS. Some of the fastest are made by IZH Drozd that are rated at 541 FPS. There are a few BB rifles that may exceed this FPS.

Pellet rifles and gun can far exceed the 600 FPS barrier. A few are known to reach over 1,400 FPS.

The most powerful air guns are in the PCP class( PreCharged Pneumatic) of air guns and rifles. These require a special hand pump or SCUBA tank to charge them to 3000 PSI and are capable of firing a 50 Caliber Ball.

I've done a littlre research on this topic and according to the research, bb guns are NOT illegal in Kansas unless you are in publicity or around housing. I recomend you go out into the woods or to a field that is the safest way to shoot your BB gun legaly.

With VERY FEW exceptions all BB guns use the same size BB .177 Caliber.

This model was made between 1965-70. It was made for Daisy by Milbro in Scotland. It worth somewhere around $50 + or - $10 depending on the condition. After WWII Dianawerk of Germany ( they made air guns before the war.) Sold off all there machinery to England Who sold the machinery to the Miller brothers, Milbro, in Scotland who made air rifles for various other airgun manufactures.

Check it again and make sure it's not 126.102940. If I'm right it was made by Crosman for Sears and is a model V350 made from 1961-69. It's a push barrel loading BB rifle.

Benjamin airguns made Ben Franklin brand airguns. The name is no longer used on any Benjamin model. Benjamin airgun bought Sheridan Airgun company years ago and continued to make Sheridan models. Crosman airgun Co bought Benjamin airgun Co. Crosman still manufactures Both Benjamin airguns and Sheridan airguns. Benjamin airguns come in .177 Cal and .22 Caliber Rifles. Sheridan models only come in .20 Caliber rifles. Most large sportingood stores like BassPro and Cabelas sell the air rifles. Or you can order them online ( See the link below.) All Benjamin and Sheridan airguns are Pellet guns not BB guns.

The gun must be designed to shoot both BB's or Pellets. If it is not designed to do so then it is not recommended.

Daisy has been making the Red Ryder series almost continuously from 1939 to today. The Red Ryder's that have a metal lever action (not plastic) are the most desirable. It is hard to place a value on them because so many were manufactured. They made so many that Daisy stopped issuing serial numbers and started using Batch numbers in 1952 for the Red Ryder models. Also you should never leave a C02 bottle in the gun for a long period of time it will eventually rupture the seal. If you read the instructions it will tell you to remove the C02 after you finish shooting the pistol. You normally get around 60 good shots from a C02 charge then the power drops off. If you need to have the bottle left in the grip to hold the pistol casing in place. Release the pressure and back off the tension on the C02 bottle a little, just enough to keep it in place but not enough to let it fall out of the handle then you can use it to hold the pistol grip in place (if its designed that way.) Remember the gun or rifle is not designed to keep the pressure overnight in the chamber. Follow these procedures and you will have a working gun for a long time.

You will have to give more information than just the serial number to get an answer. Try describing the gun give the model number and who makes it. Just the serial number is of no use.

Loud is hard to explain on paper. But 1 is low and 5 is high. So 3 would fall in the middle. Much like a hard hand clap. If I hit a board with an Iron rod that would be a 5 loud.
