What hunts bears?

Besides humans & sometimes, though rarely, a tiger may. Tigers will attack & kill Asiatic Black Bears, Sloth Bears & very rarely the Brown Bear on occasion. Usually, bears are avoided as they are very formidable beasts(Especially the brown bear), and of course there are much easier prey to take for the tiger but the smaller bears as the Sloth Bear & sometimes Asiatic Black Bear may be targeted, but for the most part are left alone. As for tiger attacks on brown bears, this is rare and will more than likely only happen during hibernation and to young sub-adult bears as well as cubs. Brown Bears as well as tigers(Siberian Tigers) give each other a wide berth when ever they do cross paths, but in spring, when bears come out of hibernation, browns bears will seek out and usurp even the biggest tigers meal & in most cases the tiger will lose their meal. This usually happens with no fighting involved, the two just size each other up and in which case the brown bear being larger or due to it's build look larger and will come out with the meal. Though fights have occurred, it usually never goes that far, but if for some reason it does, the tiger will be at a major disadvantage for the simple reason that bears are stronger, in most cases larger, built more compact, and have much more stamina than any big cat.

Though, all in all, tigers may indeed kill bears on occasion they but usually don't & leave them alone, same goes for bears, or at least the bigger ones.. hope I help you..

Can a bear hug kill?

Yes, but it is tough to do.

A Bear Hug prevents the person from inhaling, or from inhaling deeply. If you can squeeze tight enough then you can force the person to pass out from lack of air. However, once you let go the person will start breathing again. A Bear Hug would only be fatal if you were strong enough to seriously restrict their breathing and then only if you held it on for quite a while after they passed out.
