well first of all there are many interesting facts about beluga whales because of their sweet personalities but one fact is that in 2009 a person jumped off a cliff and started to drown so a beluga whale pushed her to shore.
Males Beluga whales can reach 5.5 m in length, while females grow to 4.1 m. Males weigh between 1,100 and 1,600 kilograms while females weigh between 700 and 1,200 kilograms. This is larger than most dolphins, but is smaller than other whales
Beluga whales stay mostly in Artic waters near Canada, Alaska, Greenland and Russia. But they do migrate a little south, near Quebec, for the winter.
Beluga whales do migrate, but not in the winter as mentioned above. Belugas enjoy the icy temperatures of the arctic waters during the winter time. They have a layer of blubber, usually 10-15 cm thick that allowes them to enjoy the water. When the ice starts to break up in the spring and summer time, and new water ways are created, the beluga pods tend to migrate farther south into places like the Saint Laurence river, due to the warmer temperatures. It may sound weird that beluga whales enjoy the cold temperatures of the arctic in the winter and the warmer temperatures of the Saint Laurence river in the summer, but this is true. When a pod of belugas, which can range anywhere from 10 to thousands of belugas in one pod, reaches the warmer waters, their skin addaptes to the temperatures easily. Also, beluga whales are known to reproduce during the spring time. I hope this answer helpeed with your question a little bit :)
No. Beluga Whales can be found in good numbers in the seas near the north pole. Their range goes from Alaska and Greenland to Northern Russia. Of the 7 known habitats of the beluga whales, they are critically endangered in 1 and endangered in 2 habitats. Thousands of belugas can be found in the other 4 habitats.
The beluga is a slow swimmer that feeds mainly on fish. It also eats cephalopods (squid and octopus) and crustaceans (crab and shrimp). Foraging on the seabed typically takes place at depths of up to 1,000 feet (300 m) but they can dive at least twice this depth. A typical feeding dive lasts 3-5 minutes, but belugas submerge for up to 20 minutes at a time
Mother dolphins are called cows, father dophins are called bulls and baby dolphins are called calves.

Usually the ones that attack humans are the ones that aren't always around them like the ones that are being whale watched. They don't have any better experience that to hunt for food to stay alive
I've been watching the Georgia aquarium beluga whales off of igoogle on live cam for the past couple weeks. I've noticed about the time it gets dark is when they sleep. However, keep in mind they only rest half of the brain at a time so they can still move and breathe. They need air about every 30mins depending on the whale actually, so if they were in deep sleep completely they would drown. If you ever get a chance to watch them, they are very entertaining and interesting in their behaviors. I hope this helped a little.

People kill the adults for something and Greenland Sharks eat baby belugas.
Beluga whales, like all whales, have a blowhole leading to their lungs on top of their head ti breathe when they reach the surface of the water. When the beluga whales are in the polar regions, the surface will be covered in ice, and unless the beluga whale finds a hole in the ice to surface and breathe, it will drown and die.
anything that can hunt it like a killer whale or a shark
Polar Bears and Killer Whales (Orca) are the two main predators of the beluga whale. Polar bears take particular advantage of situations when belugas become trapped by ice and are thus unable to reach the ocean. The bears swipe at the belugas and drag them onto the ice. The killer whale is its other significant natural predator.
Belugas are very vocal. They are very curious about humans and swim up to boats. They migrate and hunt in groups called pods. When a mother has her baby, both the mother and baby will usually leave the pod they are in. Belugas sometimes chase each other playfully and aggressively. They also rub each other. In the mating season, belugas have been seen with stuff on their head or backs like planks or nets.

the lump on top of the belugas head is called a melon no joke!it is a lot of blubber to help keep them warm
Australia has around 25 species of seahorses. They include:
In their natural habitat, beluga whales (Delphinapterus leucas) would not predate on penguins. Beluga whales are indigenous to the Northern hemisphere only, whilst penguins are indigenous to the Southern hemisphere only. Thus, they would be unlikely to meet in the wild.
the narwhal would be the closest relative to the beluga. they share the rounded forehead and the lack of dorsal fin. Hope that answers your question. :P
