In the end Beowulf defeats the dragon, receiving great fame and glory, but it all coasted him his life.

Hrothgar was a good king for a number of reasons. Firstly, Hrothgar knew the importance of prosperity and worked for his people to provide them safety and good quality lifestyle. He made Meadow Hall which was to remain a wonder of the world. Moreover, he was mature enough to realize that he cannot take on Grendel alone by himself.

Beowulf dives into the lake where Grendel's mother lives and swims down to her lair. There, he engages her in a fierce battle using a magical sword that he finds in the lair. Beowulf eventually defeats Grendel's mother by decapitating her with the sword.

Beowulf and his men travel to Hrothgar's kingdom to kill Grendel.

Hrothgar caution's beowulf to not become complacent. He warns him to not rest on his laurels and pride, and to stay vigilant. Hrothgar even comes close to blaming himself for the arrival of Grendel.

As a result of Grendel's attack, King Hrothgar's warriors became fearful and the once-boisterous mead hall fell silent and abandoned. Grendel's presence instilled a sense of dread and despair in the kingdom, impacting its people and their way of life.

Beowulf's golden torque is passed on to Wiglaf after Beowulf dies in the epic poem "Beowulf". It symbolizes Beowulf's legacy and leadership, as well as the passing of power to a new generation.

An example of a epic hero is Oddecious. He was the exampler of the literary society of Greece. He was a very homoric hero in nature. but only this one had a transformation during his journey to Ithaca,his home from the Trojen war.

A perfect example of an epic journey is "Odyssey". In this epic Homer narrated or composed the sufferings of the hero Odessius in his journey to come back to his family after a long ten years from the Trojen war.
