My belief is that you should probably put the bichon to sleep. Its not fair for the bichon to live like this with cancer. She is old already and its not fair for er to live like that

I have a Bichon Frise but not a mix with a shitzu. But my bichon frise is very relaxed always has been since a puppy. Never bites never has doesnt usually bark unless a stranger or a mail man comes. but i do know some bichons that are adults and bark constantly and always have energy. My dog always wants to snuggle always wants to have loves always wants to be by your side. Hes such a nice guy

It is really up to the dog. Keep trying different foods. Eventually he or she should find one that he or she likes, but if not just leave a big bowel of dog food out and eventually he or she shoudl eat it when theyre hungry enough.
