No. You only add a degree when taking a axial (under the arm) temp. This is because the axial temp is taken externally, so it only gives a close approximation of the body's internal temperature. Since oral temps are taken from inside the mouth, they give you the accurate internal body temperature without having to add anything.

One can prevent the onset of hypothermia in cold temperatures by keeping warm. To keep warm, you need to wear lots of clothes or take shelter. Alternatively, you can become active to increase your body heat or you can use a fire to keep warm.

I don't know the normal but if enough people write what theirs was, when checked recently, we can estimate. Mine was 100.4, which is what is normal rectally.

This system has two parts. The one is the sympathetic system which speed up all bodily processes. The other is the parasympathetic system which slow down bodily processes and make the body relax. Both sympathetic and parasympathetic are controlled by hypothalamus. The third type of muscles is called cardiac muscle which is found in the wall of the heart only. Cardiac muscle help the heart push blood out and into the arteries. It is operate automatically without orders from the brain. Cardiac muscle is controlled by the autonomic nervous system. The muscles have many ability which are different other tissue. They have irritability, contractility, extensibility and elasticity. These ability make every organ work completely. I think the muscles are excellent.

I believe there are actually only 3 and they include the mouth, the armpit and the anus. The fourth location is inside the ear. There are special measuring devices you can get (usually designed for infants) to measure temperature accurately.But the temperature of all places are not same.

That's considered a fever, although it's not very far off (healthy body temperature is 98.6 degrees F), so it's not alarming. But if you really feel sick, you should see a doctor, fever or not.

Try looking up "Wilson's Temperature Syndrome." An imbalance of the hormones the Thyroid produces. The typical thyroid test may show that it is working normally, which it probably is. Good luck.

The accepted normal range today for oral temperature is 98.2±1.3 °F, thus temperatures as low as 96.9 °F are normal. Hypothermia, the medical condition of low body temperature, is defined as core temperature of 95 °F or lower. At this point, the body will take actions aggressive action such as shivering to increase temperature. More extreme hypothermia will result in loss of muscle function and eventually shutdown of vital organs resulting in death. No, this is not considered high or abnormal. The normal average is 98.6F. Give or take a few degrees because everyone's system works different. Only be alarmed if your temperature becomes greater than 99. Or less than 95. This temperatures are in Fahrenheit, respectively.

That's pretty much spot on for what's considered the normal reference temperature. Do note that there is some room for individual differences, although usually not more than a few tenths of a degree either way.
