Sorry, a little mandatory Slap Shot reference there. The Flames are owned by a group of Calgary businessmen and oil barons consisting of Murray Edwards, Harley Hotchkiss, Alvin Libin, Allan Markin, Jeffrey McCaig, Clayton Riddell, Byron Seaman and the estate of the late Daryl "Doc" Seaman.

There are three distinct types of oxy-acetylene flames, usually termed:

-Neutral: The neutral flame will usually have no chemical effect on the metal being welded.

-Carburizing (or excess acetylene): It will cause an increase in the carbon content of the weld metal.

-Oxidizing (or excess oxygen ): It will oxidize or "burn" some of the metal being welded.

The type of flame produced depends upon the ratio of oxygen to acetylene in the gas mixture which leaves the torch tip.

Target Field. They played in the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome from 1981-2009, Metropolitan Stadium from 1961-1981, and Target Field 2010-Present.

Target Field is located in downtown Minneapolis. The Metrodome is just a few blocks down from the Metrodome, and Metropolitan Stadium formerly stood on the current site of the Mall of America. The home plate is located in the middle of Nickelodeon Universe, where there is a plaque shaped like home plate on the ground.
