Usually you will see a banana tree in the front yard or back yard and also see a garden of vegetables next to the house or apartment. Also, there are usually Cambodian paintings of Angkor Watt or of Apsara Dancers. Also, most likely you would see a bucket in the bathroom next to the bath tub because Cambodians sometimes wash their clothes in the bathtub and hang it to dry on clothes line. Most do their laundry in regular washers and dryers or at Laundry mat. There are straw rugs that are usually placed in the middle of the living room. The kitchen should have a rice cooker and also a rice dispenser that holds about 15 pounds of grain of rice.

Cambodians mostly eat rice , chicken , steak , soups , stir fry , and noodle soup. They also eat "Boba" (Boe - BAW) which is just rice cooked with water and is kind of like soup. Also, when we eat chicken or stir fry etc. it's eaten with white rice.

Most of them live like American, some of them still adopt Cambodian living style.
