When is a rabbit too old to get pregnant?
Rabbits can usually breed up until around 4-5 years of age, but it's best to consult with a veterinarian before attempting to breed a rabbit that is older. Older rabbits may have more difficulty carrying a pregnancy to term and may be at higher risk for complications.
Rabbits of all types, small or large, should have the bulk of their diet consist of hay. A very small portion of a commercial pelleted mix from the pet store can be added to this, but no more than 1/4 cup per day. Fresh veggies daily are always a good idea!

Six months of age is typical for most small to medium breeds and eight to twelve months with large breeds and twelve to eightenn months for giant breeds. You want to let the animal put all it's physical energy into it's own growth before taxing it with reproduction. Many breeders will start dwarf breeds as early as four months but they are experienced enough to know from the animal's development if it is practical.
What does a male bunny look like?
Male bunnies look much the same as female bunnies. Often they have a more squarish (less round) head, but this isn't a guarantee. The only way to know for sure if your rabbit is male is to check the genitalia.

Newborn rabbits rely on their mother's milk for nutrition during the first few weeks of life. It's essential for their growth and development. It is not recommended to feed newborn rabbits anything other than their mother's milk unless advised by a veterinarian.
Can you place two female rabbits in the same cage?
First answer: yes you can they get along very well, it's very unusual for them not too.
A different opinion: Actually, rabbits often don't get along with each other, at least not right away. You can't just put two rabbits in a cage together and expect them to get along.
Before you keep two rabbits together, you have to "bond" them. Sometimes bonding goes very quickly, just a couple of weeks; other times, it can take months.
Generally speaking, the rabbits have to be spayed before they're bonded. Two female rabbits raised together from the same litter may get along fine without being spayed; otherwise, they probably won't. Spaying also has behavioural benefits and health benefits (particularly regarding ovarian cancer, which is very common in young female rabbits).
See the related questions below for more info and helpful links.
What can you do at home for dehydration of a newborn rabbit?
Newborn rabbits get hydration and nutrition from their mother's milk. If the kit (baby rabbit) isn't drinking, it will require medical intervention or else it probably won't survive. Call your rabbit-savvy vet and ask for advice.
How much blood does a rabbit have?
I don't know but let me know when you find out. We think there may be a big future in selling rabbit blood! $$$
You can feed them lab blocks from pet stores and stuff. Mixes can make them fat and unhealthy, so don't feed them that. Rats can eat salad and other veggie stuff. They are allergic to citrus, and you shouldn't feed them too much nuts or salt (actually, no salt!)

Does your bunny hate you if he nips?
if your bunny nipsat you, this simply means that he is not used to being around you...believe me, I've learned from experience...when i first got my bunny, he wanted nothing to do with me. when i let him out of his cage to run, i would approach him and he'd runn (hop) away. it will take some time for your rabbit to warm up to you. when your rabbit is in the cage/hutch, pet it gently from the neck to the drop on it's back. if youe run your hand all the way down i'ts back to the tail, it will most likely bite. I've tried and my bunny doesn't like it one bit. get some timothy hay or freshly dark green parsley that has just been washed and place it in the rabbits house if it does not bite. your rabbit will slowly realize that there is nothing to worry about. in about a week or two, hold your rabbit for short periods of time carefully stroking it from the neck to the back. reward it if it has done well.
What fruit can dwarf bunnies eat?
Dwarf bunnies can eat a variety of fruits in moderation, including apples (without seeds), bananas, blueberries, and strawberries. Ensure that the fruits are cut into small pieces to prevent choking and monitor their intake to avoid overfeeding, as fruits are high in sugar.
What happens if you bathe a rabbit and its head gets wet?
If a rabbit's head gets wet, it could get an ear infection.
Baths are not usually necessary for rabbits. Healthy rabbits bathe themselves, and as a matter of course you should keep them away from very messy areas. If your rabbit is messy, something is wrong! Baths can be very dangerous for rabbits, whether their head stays dry or not. See the related question below for details and links.
Rabbits have natural camouflage that helps them blend in with their surroundings. Their fur color and patterns help them to stay hidden from predators in grassy fields and forests. They also have keen senses that allow them to detect danger quickly and escape using their impressive speed and agility.
Why is Rabbit pulling fur from its back?
Your rabbit is most likely pregnant. I used to breed rabbits, and does make nests of fur to keep the babies warm and to protect them.
If your rabbit is a boy, then he might be doing it for comfort or warmth, but he might be sick. Check the skin underneath the fur; if anything looks unusual (redness, excessive flaking, or anything like that), take the rabbit to the vet.
I do recommend making sure this rabbit has a nesting box. If it doesn't, then get some straw or something similar, and if you have a big wired cage, put a piece of wood on top of the wire to make sure the babies don't fall through.
She could also be having a false pregnancy with no breeding at all some rabbits do this. This is due to hormones.
No, they can't eat any of the things in fish sticks: fish, batter, oil, etc. Rabbits are herbivores (vegan). Refer to the related question (linked below) for more details and helpful links about the rabbit diet.
