the Chinese caste system can only be described as racist. if your slanted eyes where not small enough you where paid less even if your worked harder. though there was a very few (like 5 in the whole country) amount of 大陰莖 or 大阴茎 (litteraly means large penis) that where highly discriminated and frowned apon. they where quickly stoned and all recorde of them were burned.

The Chinese caste system was based on basic Confucius views. The following list represents the caste system from greatest to lowest

1) scholars

2) farmers

3) artisans

4) merchants

Scholars are on top because they are considered to be of great value, because they are always learning and expanding the wealth of knowledge that belongs to the empire.

farmers are second because they are the main providers of food in china.

Artisans provide us with their baskets,pots,and cloth which helped in the daily chores

Merchants were considered to be on the bottom because they were seen as people who were out for profit and did not contribute to the over all prosperity of the empire.

Caste system is used for community living and identifying various groups of populations for ease of common habits and customs in ancient India. Other wise prior to that era only 4 varnas are there based on type of work done for living. Later people started identifying themselves based on their work like farmers, pujaris,gold smiths,Barbers,warriors etc.

no one is sure, but ideas about skin color were probobly part of it. The Aryans were a light skinned people. They thought they were better than dark skinned people they encountered in India. This idea was wrong but the Aryans believed it.

Another reason the Aryans might have created the caste system was because the people they had encountered in India greatly outnumbered them. The caste system kept groups seperate and set the rules for everyone's behavior. This helped the Aryans maintain control.

In the Aryan Caste System, there were five groups that you could be in.

1. Brahmins ( Priests)

2. Kshatriyas (Warriors and rulers)

3. Vaishyas (Peasants and traders)

4. Shudras (Laborers)

and last, but not least,

5. The "Untouchables"

The Untouchables were considered untouchables, because they did jobs that were ''polutants''. Anything to do with feces, blood, or killing anything put you directly into the Untouchables catagory.

The earlier Shunga of eastern central Indian and Satavahana of southern and central India have references to many officials bearing the surname Gupta. But relationships of these persons in earlier empires from the east with the Imperial Guptas is not yet determined. However Gupta Empire records and Chinese records provided by the later I-Tsing, furnished the names of the first three rulers of the Gupta Dynasty, Maharaja Sri Gupta, Maharaja Sri Ghatotkacha and Ghatotokacha's son, Maharajadhiraja Sri Chandragupta, considered the first Gupta emperor. Historian K. P. Jaiswal suggested that the Guptas belonged to the jat . But his theory lacked conclusive proofs, and it was discarded. One historian has put forth a different theory about the ancestry of the Guptas. According to him, in the Panchobh Copper Plate, some kings bearing the title Guptas and related to the imperial Gupta Dynasty, claimed themselves as Kshatriyas. This theory has been generally accepted by modern scholars.

The identification of the Guptas as Kshatriyas is supported by the historical records such as copper plate inscriptions .

It is therefore clear that Guptas actually belong to kshatriya caste . its only later on that many other people like rajpots claimed kshatriya caste by the pandits even while rajputs lost so many battles. Also there are so many other communities who have no king in the history of India but claim kshatriya even when they are not kshatriya

Thus , in reality Guptas are real kshatriyas .

Yes there is a cast system in America; they just don't call it that; But people in America are divided in to supersticious religious casts: Protestant; Catholic; Baptist; Muslim, ect. As long as belief, the great divider, is accepted as truth; There Will Always Be Casts. And civiliization will exist on the brink of disaster; for it is written: Every Kingdom divided against itself is bought to dessolation; Every city or house divided against itself, shall not stand. [MATTHEW 12:25.] Civilization is not execempt from His law

The untouchables were people that did not belong to a group of the caste, so they were not considered a group of the caste system. My World History teacher from the University of Arkansas in Monticello says that it included outcasts, "untouchables," and "children of God."

Another name for "childern of God" is harijans.

Aryans

Arain are known for their hard work and dedication and it is claimed that they were rulers of Arab descent[10], doubtless based upon the demographic that nearly all Arain are, and have been, Sunni Muslim, as were the early Arabs of Muhammad bin Qasim's expedition[11]. Arain came from Areeha (Jericho, Syria) with Muhammad Bin Qasim in 92 Hijri (711 AD). [12] Muhammad Hayaat Madni was a Commander in Muhammad Bin Qasim's Army - 711 AD as held in the family tree of famous Arain Mian Family Baghbanpura. Reference to their lineage is made by the famous Indian Historian of Islam, Akbar Shah Khan Najeebabadi, who declared that they entered India thru Debal, Sindh with Muhammad Bin Qasim. He declared them Areehai from Arreha (Jericho) which was Punjabized with a nasal sound to Arain.[13]

Another proof of the Arain ancestry being from Muhammad Bin Qassim is the word Ar-Rai meaning shepherd in Arabic and that the Arain were originally shepherds in Syria who joined the Army of Muhammad Bin Qassim to conquer India.

No one knows for certain when the caste system began. However, there is literature that shows the practice as being solidly in place as early as 1200 BC.

The Aryans are the present day Hindus, so yes they did invent it. Though many civilizations used as much as the Hindus did, the Aryans take credit as they were considered the earliest of other civilizations thus the first to invent and use it.
