The genre of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is fantasy. I know it is fanatsy because fantasy books take place in a make believe setting and in the book it also takes place in a make believe setting such as chocolate room with everthing in the room edible.

Violet(Beaurregade) is a girl who loves to chew on chewing gum. She was the 2nd person to find the Golden Ticket. As she ate her 3 months old chewing gum, she entered the Chocolate factory with 4 other lucky searchers. She was the 2nd again to disappear when she became violet while eating a tested(not ready) chewing gum.

As you probably know, Charlie wins a golden ticket and is able to visit the Chocolate Factory. As funny and somewhat impossible things happen to the other children, Charlie becomes the only one left. Willy Wonka offers Charlie the chance to come live in the factory as his heir on one condition, Charlie must leave his family, forever. Charlie chooses to stay with his family, eventually accompanying Willy to reunite with his father, at which point Willy understands the importance of family, and offers Charlie and his Family a home within the factory. Charlie and his family gladly accept and Charlie lives with Willy designing new sweets for the world.

I would like to tell anyone that thinks so a resounding "no". Rumor has it that he murders kids to make candy. Oh, really? How would he have gotten his needed children prior to sending out the Golden Tickets? Candy was still being made with nobody (SPOILER ALERT--except for Wilkinson, who worked for Wonka) ever coming in. Also, if Wonka had actually sent out the Golden Tickets to find human ingredients, he would have sent out a lot more than just five. I HIGHLY doubt that five people out of roughly six billion on the planet would be enough to make all those different candies you see throughout the film. In conclusion, many people have fallen victim to an utter urban legend. I hope I helped.

I think that's an easy one. Mr. Wonka obviously feels sympathy for Charlie, and he think Charlie is like him! If you met someone you like a lot, among many that you don't, you'd probably give them chocolates.
