Go to your local pet store and ask for dri tail. It works fast but most importantly make sure your chinchilla is drinking if not they can dehydrate very fast and it can be deadly. If you dont see the stool hardening in less than 1 day take them to the vet it could be something more serious.

The one I've heard most often is mixing the following:

1 can goats milk (in canned milk section at grocery store, evaporated milk can be used if goats milk can't be found)

1 can water

1 tablespoon dry rice baby cereal

1 tablespoon plain active culture yogurt

2 drops of light Karo syrup

Make sure the formula is warm, but not hot

Formula only stays good for 2 days, a new batch must be mixed up after two days.

Chinchillas like to eat sweet foods like, dried cranberries or dried fruit. NEVER feed your chinchilla any nuts or anything with a pit. chinchillas like bananas but they are high in sugar so dont feed to them often. I wouldnt feed your chinchilla lettuce or spinach although i dont know whether its good for them or not, ive heard both wqhs.
