Nope! Codeine and hydrocodone are two different meds. The nausea and side affects make you throw up alot more with codeine, even though its the hydrocodone that is a stronger pain killer.

Some steroids and pain meds are prescibed to work together.In a situation I just been through I was given both.Once the steriod got into the system I was able to back off the pain med.due to the steroids taking away the swelling and imflamation.Prolonged use of both were never intended.The steroids was given in a step down stages.

In relation to your question; no you can't have alcohol with codeine/ ibuprofen or paracetamol; there should be instructions as to what substances you are allowed to have along with medication but I would refrain from mixing drugs together or drinking until you have finished your course of medication.

Have it in my system now.... no other rx's just the codeine and clonazepam... gives you a relaxed euphoria... the caffeine from the t w codeine keeps you from nodding.. and it makes you feel like the king. feels better with alprazolam tho...

I am trying to figure that out as well. So far what I have come up with is that APO is short for the manufacturer, Apotex. I came to this conclusion based on this webpage: http://en.allexperts.com/q/Pharmacy-1407/pill-7.htm . I was prescribed APO ibuprofen, so will check out their page now to see if they manufacture it.

That's right, "APO" is the prefix for the generics manifactured by Apotex.
