I've found that my personal lenses, Air Optix Aqua by Ciba only came in one size, 8.6/14.20, and were too large for my eye. Conversely, Air Optix Night and Day (formerly Focus Night and Day) come in two BC.. 8.4 and 8.6 but have only one diameter, 13.8. I have a trail pair in currently, Air Optix Aqua with a BC of 8.6 and Diameter of 14.20 and extremely uncomfortable. My Focus Night and Days have a BC of 8.4 and a diameter (no option) of 13.8 and are much better.

I'm no expert, but there really is no best brand for contacts. If you still want to have healthy eyes the best way is to ask an eye doctor because they know about your eyes and will know what contacts will be good for you even if they're for fun and expensive. But otherwise, I don't know what the HEALTHIEST brand for your eyes are.

One would assume that you were prescribed the contact lens to aid your level of vision for a particular eye, so to check if you still have a lens in, maybe you should "test" your vision by covering the other eye to find out if you can see clearly out of the eye in question. If not, chances are, there's no lens present.

I can't imagine they'd be able to use mine- I had astigmatism/toric lenses and the prescriptions are so precise. Also, my eyes were different. The chances of someone having those exact same crappy corneas is probably close to zero but oh well. I had Lasik. What am I gonna do with em now?
