How is the Coronavirus Affecting Travel Industry?

User Avatar
COVID-19 is affecting the travel industry significantly. Airports qnd trains have shut down in China. Because of the panic over COVID-19, people are laying off travel, which is making for even less customers. Bus and train service in the city near Wuhan of Huanggang, as well as rail service in Ezhou, just south of Huanggang, were also shut down. All of the honeymoons a travel agency had booked to the region of China have been canceled and rebooked for different places.

Can you prevent COVID-19?

User Avatar
Yes. Elders and those with underlying chronic medical conditions seem to be at higher risk, according to the CDC. As COVID-19 spreads from person to person, experts advise washing hands, avoiding close contact with others, and disinfecting surfaces. Cough and sneeze in your elbow or into a tissue. (My advice: After using a tissue, wash your hands. Germs might travel from the tissue to your hand because you are touching the tissue.) Wear a mask if you are sick or caring for someone who is, specifically the N95 Respirator mask to limit the spread to others.
