I believe they were asking about the original, and no he has not been. While the Miami show was introduced in a cross over episode it was Rory Cochrane was in it (obviously since Speed did not die until the first episode of season 3, a few episodes later Wolfe took his place on the team, but not in their hearts). Other's such as NY's Carmine Giovinazzo, have made appearances as non CSI characters.
