He joined weapon X, that is were they experimented on him. They wanted to create a super solider but it cost deadpools sanity and horrible disfigured him. but unlike the movie X-man origins he does not have wrist swords, eye blasts (he can teleport but only with a special device on his belt)

In Wolverine Origins, he has scar tissue that completely covers his mouth. So, if he talked he would make muffling sounds. Even if he cut himself a mouth, his healing factor would kick in healing the cut; in essence, he could not talk.
