For comparison, look at Ms. Ryan's co-star on The Suite Life, the stunning and athletic Brenda Song, who is 5'2" and consistently weighs probably less than 100 lbs. Ms. Song is an appropriate weight not to mention very physically fit (among other things, she is a black belt in Tae Kwan Do), and, as a consequence, her careeer continues to take off. Meanwhile, Ms. Ryan has had only a few additional roles since gaining so much weight before and during her second season on The Suite Life.
The simple fact is that if she does not commence a real exercise program, eat healthier and smaller portions, and lose some of this added weight, it is likely that we will not see much of Ms. Ryan on TV or movies after The Suite Life runs its course. I am not trying to be cruel here, just honest. That is the reality of the entertainment industry. Ms. Ryan always retains the right to go to college and become an accountant, lawyer, or engineer, et. al., and, if she chooses that path, she will likely never have to worry about her weight again (assuming, of course, that she does not continue to gain weight at her current pace, which could quickly lead to obesity and the many health issues that come with it).
In my point of view, she is plump. In the first season, she was skinny. The second season, the ones showing today. She has gained some weight. She probably gained 50 or 60 pounds. She's fat not some skinny minny maybe model. She's chunky and bad.
