Ah, could be tricky. Depends on what withdrawal symptoms you are experiencing but a common method is to slowly decrease dosage. For example, Day1/Day2 dose=2mg, day3/day4 dose=1mg, day5/day6 .5mg. Of course, you will still experience slight withdrawal, but the only way to get over it is to completely stop usage. This method can apply to many other benzodiazepines also.

It is a derivative of an organic acid called Valproic Acid. The People I Know That Have Taken Depakote Experenced Significant Weight Gain. This Is Not Shown In The Indications Of This Drug. But It Is My Opinion That This Happens. I`m Not Sure If There Is A Medication To Treat Bipolar Ect. That Does Not Cause Weight Gain Also. Hope This Helps

I take both Xanax and Depakote. I have been taking Depakote for 7 months and I just started taking Xanax with it. I also take an anti-depressant. I already am noticing that the Xanax trumps it all! I think I will stop taking my Depakote and take my Xanax and anti-depressant. I never liked Depakote because I get extremely fatiqued while on it and I really do not know what the hell it is doing to me anyways. In my case I feel so bad that I do not care about addiction right now and I just want to feel normal. Xanax I feel was made for some and not others. If you experience so much anxiety that it makes you break down and cry, then I suggest Xanax. Forget what people say and if it helps that is all that matters. Depression and anxiety are nothing to mess around with. I hope this helped.

Tylenol is not measures in ml. It's measured in mg (milligrams). An adult should not consume more than 4000mg (8-500mg Extra Strength Tylenol) of Tylenol in one day.

Any more than this is dangerous and can cause severe liver damage. Overdosing on Tylenol will not kill you quickly. It will take about 10000mg (20 tabs) over the period of 3-5 days to kill you. It will be a very painful and agonising death.

Funny you mention this. I am on the drug and took Tylenol earlier today... not feeling too good. I am noticing my mood take a down turn. Looked it up and it is listed as one of the medications you should not take with Depakote. Good to know now, will not be mistaken again.

NO! Even though Topamax and Depakote are used to treat a lot of the same things, Depakote can cause interactions with Topamax. If your doctor prescribed both prescriptions to you, I would call a Walgreen's or CVS and ask a pharmacist. They usually have one specifically to answer questions about medications. But even the website for the makers of depakote and topamax said they shouldn't be taken together.

Phenytoin sodium (aka Dilantin) is an antiepileptic drug and a class 1b antiarrhythmic.

Normal range is from 50 - 100 but it can go up to 125 without any worry. Anything past 125 is cause for worry. This is where you need to worry about being depakote toxic.
