Daleks are almost indestructible with strong dalekanium armor which protects them from bullets and energy weapons as seen in doomsday. Cybermens high energy particle beam's had no effect on the members of the cult of skaro (four daleks determined to find new ways of extermination). There are few weaknesses a dalek has but it can be destroyed by bastic-tipped bullets. But unfortunately if you did possess them they created an energy shield to protect themselves from the bullets unless the dalek is unprotected the bastic-tipped bullets wont work. Another weakness is the eye stalk even with the energy shield if you concentrate your fire on the eye stalk you might get lucky and destroy the eye stalk. this enables them to see and wont be able to shoot you. but don't think the eye stalk is very weak because paintball guns wont work.
How does the Doctor obtain the TARDIS?
He 'borrowed' it from the Time Lords. Originally, Time Lords did not interfere with other goings-on around the universe, but sat and watched, unless something needed to be done, in which case they got the Doctor to do the dirty work. They lent him the TARDIS to use to do so in. However, all of the Time Lords but the Doctor and the Master were killed along with their home planet Gallifrey, in the deadly Time War against the evil Daleks. The Doctor was devastated by the consequences of the war, but kept the TARDIS to hop around time and space and carry on righting wrongs.
