How do you get the vashta narada on the Doctor Who adventures?

If it's the place I think it is, and they are walking round in circles, you...

a) Run around until you see a dark alcove with a kind of pipe archway - it is positioned in such a way that if you push the nearby block into the pipe archway the Vashta Nerada have to go into the alcove to continue their circle.

b) Push the block into the pipe archway (if you haven't done so already).

c) Run away from the Vashta Nerada and get up onto the catwalk above as quickly as possible.

d) Make your way to the switch (on the catwalk) and wait for a Vashta Nerada to walk into the shadowy alcove mentioned earlier.

e) Flick the switch when the Vashta Nerada is COMPLETELY inside the alcove.

This will cause a bright light to go on, and it will kill the Vashta Nerada. You do this twice because there are two of them (don't go down until the other one is dead).

Hope this helps!

Why did Paul McGann only play the Doctor for one episode?

He played the Doctor for the 1996 movie not an episode, that was his only major appearance because the show was cancelled. The American film makers couldn't get Doctor Who to be as popular as the other characters were, mainly because the British were in uproar about a classic British character being re-shaped for American TV.

Russell T Davis, who is British, tried again in 2005. Instantly, Doctor Who was popular again in not just the UK, but in the USA too.

In 2013, Paul was re-hired by the British Doctor Who production team for a mini-episode called The Night of the Doctor, where the audience learnt that he regenerated into what we call "The War Doctor".

How many floors does a tardis have?

I'm noy sure that there is a specific number of floors for a TARDIS or even the TARDIS. But I should imagine that there are a fair few because a Type 40 TARDIS contains many bedrooms and bathrooms, maintenance bays, research labs, a swimming pool, a cinema, an immense wardrobe spanning many floors, and a garage.

Is there going to be another Doctor on Doctor Who?

Yes. A new actor will be introduced as the new Doctor after Matt Smith leaves in the 2013 Christmas special.

A Time Lord is, according to the show, able to regenerate thirteen times. We're currently on the eleventh regeneration (played by Matt Smith), so, yes, eventually we will have at least two more Doctors.

There is some debate about whether or not they will continue the show after the thirteenth Doctor's death; there's a possibility that the writers will go against the history of the show and find a way for him to regenerate again, or maybe they'll just pass on the Doctor's legacy to a son we don't know about or a worthy companion.

It should be noted that in the series itself it has been strongly indicated since at least 1983 that 13 is not a hard and fast rule. In The Five Doctors and the 2007 episode The Sound of Drums it was indicated that the High Council of Time Lords had the ability to reset the regeneration cycle, as this was offered (and later given) to the Master. The Master also used various methods to gain more lives after his original 13. More recently, Russell T Davies, Steven Moffat and David Tennant have all downplayed the significance of the 13, and it is assumed it will simply be ignored when the time comes; for those who feel canon must be adhered to, the above reference to the High Council controlling regenerations provides the out: they no longer exist, therefore the 13-life cap no longer exists. In the Sarah Jane Adventures story "Death of the Doctor", the Doctor says he can regenerate 507 times. This was intended as a joke, according to Davies, but could end up being more the case down the line. One thing for sure - if Doctor Who remains as popular as it is now in 5-10 years when the actor or actress playing the 13th Doctor decides to leave the series, there is no way the series will end. They'll either ignore the limit completely, or "hand wave" it away. The introduction of a previously unknown incarnation of the Doctor in "The Name of the Doctor" - which could render the Doctor who follows Matt Smith at the end of the 2013 Christmas special as the 13th Doctor - has also increased the likelihood that a workaround will be used to avoid the limit. As of 2013, Doctor Who remains BBC Worldwide's top moneymaking series; they will not end it anytime soon.

What is the TARDIS's phone number from the british tv show Dr. Who?

Origingally, the TARDIS, while being a police box, didn't actually have a phone that works. The phone in the little box at the front, behind the sign that says

Police Telephone

For Free Use of Public

Advice and Intelligence

Obtainable Immediately

Officers and Cars Respond to Urgent Calls

Pull to Open

doesn't actually work. It isn't connected to anything. We do see it ring in the episode the Empty Child, and the Doctor (Nine, at this point) is entirely shocked, because it isn't a phone.

However in the redesigned TARDIS in Series 5, it now has a working phone on the inside. The Doctor receives a phone call on it from Winston Churchill. However the number itself is not known.

It rings again in Series 7, 'The Bells of St John' - the phone is in fact the titular bell, close to the TARDIS' St Johns Ambulance logo.
