Who played the Doctor Who the shortest?

Paul McGann played the 8th Doctor in a TV movie in 1996. He was only the Doctor for the one time.

How did the Doctor get out of the Pandorica?

The Doctor in the future, went back to the Roman time using the transporter that River left behind to give Rory his Sonic Screwdriver. By giving him the sonic screwdriver, he told Rory to go and open the Pandorica with it. He did, and the Doctor found out that he had indeed come from the future, exclaiming "Oh good, I have a future." Rory then, told by the future doctor who wears a Fez and holds a Mop from some musuem, puts the screwdriver into Amy's coat pocket. The Future doctor then finds it in Future amy's pocket.

How do you fly a TARDIS?

Only four people know how to do that- The Doctor himself, his evil opposite number The Master (the only known other surviving Time Lord to date), Captain Jack Harkness from Torchwood, and The Doctor's daughter River Song. His companions know how to work some of it, but fall way short of being able to pilot it themselves. The TARDIS is also itself a sentient machine with organic origins, and can to some extent think for and fly itself.

What are the names of the ninth Doctor's companions?

The 9th Doctor's (Christopher Eccleston) companion was mainly Rose Tyler, but he also traveled with Jack Harkness, and Adam Mitchell - but sent him back home when he greedily had an infospike put in his head in an attempt to gain knowledge of future, being the only companion to last only one trip with the Doctor, and never be seen again. Rose was sent to a parallel universe, but still eventually came back, and even though Jack died in the last episode of series 1, he was brough back to life, after Rose had looked into time itself and had the ability to do so, and when she did that, Jack was no longer able to die, and is why he was able to return throughout the series.

Does Rose come back in Doctor Who 2011?

No she is not coming back. Her last appearance was the 2010 episode The End of Time.

What is the meaning of the latest doctor who series ending series 6 2011?

well it takes a lot of explaing and one heck of a lot of guesswork but here goes...

As we found out, River Song is Amy and Rory's daughter, melody. Melody pond was her name but it was changed to River song because in the language of the gamma forests there is no word for 'pond' because the only water in the forest was the river so pond changes to river. Melody is a song so Melody changes to song. Put the two words together and switch them around it says 'River song!. There was also a debate on whether River was even human.. This was because the doctor scanned her DNA and it read human plus time lord. The explanation for this is not that the Doctor had the baby with Amy but because the baby was conceived (by Amy and Rory) in the TARDIS while it was in flight. As we know the TARDIS travelles through the time vortex and the Time lords became what they became through prolonged exposure to the time vortex which basically means they travelled in time a lot. So following that information the baby must have absorbed a bit of the time vortex while it was being conceived. So if the baby-River Song is part time lord then she may be able to regenerate. Following that theory, i think river may be the little girl we say regenerating at the end of 'Day of the Moon'. If that is true, River was the girl in the Spacesuit who killed the doctor but when they travelled back in time Amy shot the little girl to save the doctor therefore killing her own Daughter! River also said 'this girl obviously forced herself out of the suit, she must have been incredibly strong.' If this girl was river and a time lord, that could explain her incredible strenght(not that i know time lords are incredibly strong). So the episode ended in a HUGE cliffhanger but revealed after three years of Mystery who river was. One thing i dont understand is why River would kill the doctor. Maybe the doctor does something within the 200 years that separate today with the doctor's death that would anger River. I must now inforce that this is a GUESS and I DO NOT KNOW what is true and what is false but I cannot make a better explanation from the information I already have. But if ther is one thing I have learned from watching doctor who over the years is that You can NEVER know for sure and that NOTHING IS EVER AS IT SEEMS!

What is the tenth Doctor's real name in Doctor Who?

The actor who plays the 10th Doctor's real name is David Tennant. However, if you mean what is the name of the Doctor himself, nobody knows his actual name.

What do the Silence do in Dr. Who?

The Silence are a religious order in Doctor Who that seek to prevent the Doctor from answering the oldest question in the universe, "Doctor who?" They are known for their ability to make people forget about them once they look away, which allows them to manipulate events from the shadows.

What are the Silence in Dr. Who?

The silence are aliens that have inhabited our earth for centuries. While you are looking at them, you remember them, but once you look away, you forget they were ever there. But, while you are looking at them, they can convince you to do something by telling you to do so. For example, you could look a one and it could tell you to scream "help" and once you look away, you will scream "help" without knowing why you are doing it.

Why are Daleks fighting the Time Lords?

Daleks consider themselves the superior race and seek to exterminate all other life forms, including the Time Lords. The Time Lords, on the other hand, strive to maintain order in the universe and often clash with the Daleks due to their destructive nature. Their conflict stems from differing ideologies and a long history of enmity.

What episode of Doctor Who refers to The lonely god?

The term "The Lonely God" is used in the Doctor Who episode "The Satan Pit" from series 2. In this episode, the Tenth Doctor is referred to as such by the Beast, an ancient entity that claims to be older than time itself.

Why are there so many Doctors on Doctor Who?

When one actor wants to leave or has been in Doctor Who for too long, instead of the show ending because the main character has gone, the Doctor regenerates and turns in to a new docotr (actor) so the show can continue on.

How many episodes on new series of Dr. Who?

Is Amy Pond the daughter of the Doctor and River Song?

No We saw Amy's parents in season 5 the Big Bang.

Infact, River Song is the daughter of Amy and Rory.

Meaning that if the Doctor and River Song's marriage was legitimate, Amy is technically the Doctor's mother-in-law. Wierd.

Doctor Who When did Amy change?

Amy changes throughout her time on Doctor Who. Her character evolves and develops over several seasons, facing various challenges and growing as a person. Her most significant change may be during the episode "The Angels Take Manhattan" when she is sent back in time by the Weeping Angels and separated from the Doctor.

How do weeping angels move?

They move like we do, just extremely quickly, crossing a fair amount of distance even in just the time it takes someone to blink.

In 'Flesh and Stone', we see Weeping Angels actually moving for the first time, these ones are weakened through starvation and can't move as fast as normal, but they are shown turning their heads and moving their arms.
