I don't have extensive knowledge in dream interpretation, but I do research the subject all the time, especially when I have dreams that are extremely realistic or exceptionally memorable. From the information I have gathered, buying something symbolizes progress in your waking life. It seems to me that buying a farm would symbolize you potentially making progress in obtaining something of value to you, whether it means you have made a big purchase recently or will in the near future, maybe you could be expecting a promotion at work or an offer for a better job, maybe you are on your way to achieving some kind of financial success. The dream could mean that you are seeking ways to expand your quality of life.

It most likely means you are in love with that person. Or are attracted to him in some way. It could also just be because you are spending lotts of time with that person, and you are just dreaming them being there because they are usually there.
