Little is known about Blackbeard's early life, so he may have had siblings, but it is unknown for sure.

No one really knew when Black Beard really died and how old he was,some say he was around 40 but others say 70s.All we know is he was a man who did terrible but great thing and that he was savagely shot,stabbed.All that is left is photos and scripts. He also was beaten for a few minutes before bieng stabed with his own sword.

Edward Teach ("Blackbeard") was a notorious and highly feared English pirate of the Caribbean Sea and western Atlantic during the early 18th century, (the period referred to as the Golden Age of Piracy). His best known ship was the Queen Anne's Revenge, which is believed to have run aground off the coast of North Carolina in 1718.

Blackbeard was over six feet tall and often fought wearing a large feathered tricorn hat, and with multiple swords, knives, and pistols on his person. He wore his long black beard in thick dreadlocks and placed burning pieces of hemp into his ears or beneath the brim of his hat in order to intimidate his enemies with his devil-like looks. His pirate flag was a skeleton in a tricorn stabbing a sword into a bleeding heart. Blackbeard is often regarded as the archetypal image of the seafaring pirate.

Well, in the Spring of 1718 Blackbeard was in command of four pirate ships, and well over 300 pirates.

Blackbeard (Edward Teach, 1680-1718) was killed off North Carolina when his crew attempted to board the sloop Jane, commanded by Lieutenant Robert Maynard from HMS Pearl, who had been sent from Virginia to arrest Teach. Teach fought with Maynard but was killed by Maynard's men, and his head hung from the sloop's bow on the return to Virginia.

Blackbeard's appearance was very intimidating. He usually wore a long, black coat, with pistols in his belt. He would also put slow-burning fuses into his beard and hair and light them on fire. It would look like he was going to blow up.

Lieutenant Maynard killed Blackbeard and did not get a reward.

He was married to Mary Ormond who was born in 1702 and previously married to Charles Eden, Royal Governor of North Carolina. Blackbeard eventually offered Mary up to his crew aboard to Queen Anne's Revenge to do with what they wanted. Her fate after that is unknown.

Yes he did have parents. Blackbeard's real name was Edward Teach or Thatch around 1680. Not much is known about his family life prior to his becoming Blackbeard. His parents names are not recorded.

After receiving a royal pardon in June, 1718, Blackbeard (Edward Teach, 1680-1718) was suspected of continued piracy around the Carolinas. In November, the governor of Virginia sent two armed sloops, Jane and Ranger, to arrest Teach. The ships were blasted by the guns of Teach's ship Adventure, but when his crews boarded, they were overwhelmed and Teach was killed. He was decapitated and his head placed on the bowsprit of the Jane (his identification being required to collect the reward offered for his capture).

He isn't buried. He was killed at sea during a battle with Lieutenant Robert Maynard who was sent after Blackbeard by the governor of Virginia. His body was decapitated and the body was thrown overboard. The head was tied to the bowsprit when Maynards crew headed back to shore. Legend has it that the headless body of Blackbeard swam around the ship three times before it sank.

This all took place in Okracoke Inlet off of North Carolina.
