The title, Cleaning Out My Closet is just a metaphor to telling about his childhood & past and basically getting it all off his chest. He accuses his mom of having Münchhausen Syndrome; a mental disorder where the patient makes up or fabricates diseases that they have to gain attention, Eminem claims she had a form of Münchhausen where the patient fakes the illness in her child for the same reason.
