Does getting a lip piercing hurt?
All piercings hurt it's mind over matter, if you don't mind it doesn't matter. Seriously it is not that bad.
Actually, they don't hurt at all.I got my first one on July 12, 2010, on the left, I absolutely LOVE IT and I hate pain and definitely had a fear of needles. But in a ranking of 1-10 I would have to say it was a 2. Didn't hurt at all. :) The swelling usually creeps up on you over night but don't be shocked.

lol to answer above, i didnt think so, but then again the girl that did my tongue piercing sprayed it with numbing stuff? no numbing stuff WA used on lip, and that barely hurt, its all over sooo fast both piercings are worth getting =)

Actually, I got my tongue pierced when I was 16. I only felt a prick. That's all. Unless you take it out(what i did), let it heal, then get it redone. THATS when it hurts like hell! Because of the scar tissue. I didnt get numbing stuff at all. The person that did it was very expirienced. It was very cool. I still have mine done today, and im glad i got it done. I shouldn't have tooken it out in the first place but im glad i got it done the second time. The listerine burns though!
I got them both done, and personally the tongue definitely hurts more than your lip.
How do you fix shaved eyebrows?
Look at celebrities for inspiration. Use a white eyeliner to colour over any hairs that you think you might pluck to get an idea of what it would look like. NEVER use a razor. Follow the natural shape of your eyebrow and start by just plucking out stray hairs above and below the eyebrow. Some cosmetics companies, which I think include Benifit, make 'eyebrow stencils' which are useful for the first few times. Alternatively, get them done professionally and follow the shape that they put in.
What risks are involved with eyebrow piercing?
There are very little risks with getting your eyebrow pierced if you take care of it. Your face CANNOT be paralyzed from an eyebrow piercing, it should never be deep enough to disturb any nerves, and again, if you take care of your piercing, it shouldn't reject. It may migrate a little, but you can have it for years and years.
Like any other peircing there is a sharp pain when it happens but honestly its hardly noticable and worth it.

If you mean shaving them completely or sections of their length, that's when they want an entirely new shape out of their natural bounds to be redrawn. Keep an eye on some dark and gothic girls, for example, sometimes only the inner half of their eyebrows is "real" and the tip is drawn on, often to have it going steeply upward. But that can even happen if the desired eyebrow shape is partially or completely outside their natural bounds.
If you mean to ask why some women shape their eyebows with razors, well some women don't like to define their eyebrows by plucking/tweezing, and feel they have much more control on their shape using those mini eyebrow razor (also called shaping razor, eybrow planning kit, tinkle or finishing touch) which, what's more are even painless. the trick to it would be showing your parents some responsibility and the ability to take care of it you could do more things around the house maybe show how well you can take care of yourself do your own laundry,pick up after yourself maybe even raise the funds doing chores and things. i think if your parents where resonable people and didint have any religious or personal reasons against it and you went above and beyond to show them how much it ment to u they would agree

I have this problem, my mum is gonna tell me 2morrow whether i can have them done...
I don't want to get my hopes up but it looks promising....
What I did was quite a while ago ( a few months) I wrote a list of why I should have them done (I would pay for it, all my friends have them done, I will look after them, etc.) then i showed it to her. she told me to show it to my dad so i did. then they talked about infections and how her and my grandma both got infections and i accepted her answer then I told her to list why i shouldn't get them done... she could only mention infections so that was that.
Now, I am not in the habbit of cleaning my teeth and bedroom so the deal was that if i cleaned my teeth 2ice a day and kept my bedroom reasonably tidy until 2 months, i could get them done. ok so i wasnt that good for the teeth so then it got extended to the end of the school year. and now it is so now she is thinking about the final answer...and hopefully, I'll get them done by the end of this week... yey!

You are having a needle forced through skin in a way that wasn't intended by nature, so pain will be involved at some point. However, it is neither extreme nor as bad as other types of piercing.

I'am pretty sure it doesn't. I pluck my eyebrows and they're perfectly fine! It's just like if you were to wax/pluck anywhere else. It will not affect your eyesight (:. My vision/eyesight is perfectly fine.
