There are a number of ways to make money in Fallout: New Vegas.

I found that the fastest way to make money when you are beginning the game is to play Caravan. When you learn the rules (it can be a bit tricky at first) it is quite easy to win practically every time. My own strategy is to add all the 10's, 7's and 9's (to make the desired total of 26) to your deck, and then add most of the face cards to sabotage your opponent's caravan or change the direction of your own.

Another way to make money fast is to play Blackjack on the Strip (if you can make it past the Deathclaws with low level, you can travel here at the start of the game). The rules are simple, so it is a matter of Luck (a S.P.E.C.I.A.L attribute) and quick saving!

If you find all of the snow globes (easy enough to find with a guide), you can sell these to Mr. House for a total of 14,000 caps.

Another obvious way to make money is to explore areas not directly involved in the main storyline. If you focus on only high-value items, it can be considered a reasonably quick way to make money. Look for enemies who carry expensive armor and weaponry (e.g. Incinerators, Grenades, Missiles, Assault Carbines etc.) - such as the Super Mutants on Black Mountain - as merchants will pay a lot of caps for these items. Increasing your barter skill will also increase the amount of money you get for each item.

You can do all of the above and retain good karma. However, if you a playing as a character with bad karma, making money fast is much easier as you can steal from and kill "good" people for high value items. If you are playing this way, stealing from the Silver Rush, killing the Gun Runners, and the Brotherhood of Steel is a good way to make a lot of caps quickly. Kill the BoS in their bunker, take the Long Haul Perk (which allows you to fast travel when you are overencumbered) as all the weapons and armor will be very heavy, repair them to a good level, and sell to a merchant with a lot of caps (e.g. Vendatron). This is a particularly good method, as they will respawn after a certain amount of time and you can repeat the process.

• Mormon fort- enter The Old Mormon Fort, as soon as you enter turn right and in the corner there's a door to the tower. Go into the tawer and follow the stairs all the way up, it should be on a shelf.
• Mt, Charleston- In the Jacobstown Lodge on the reception desk
• Nellis Air Force Base- the Nellis Boomer Museum, in Nellis AFB. turn right immediately when you enter the building, it should be on a table.
• Test Site- in the Cocktail Lounge, in the Lucky 38. It is behind a cash register with a green lamp next to it
• The Strip- in Vault 21, in Sarah's Room. it should be on a table between two beds. If you can't find her room ask Sarah for a tour

If you mean manipulate an item without putting it in your inventory, you position the cursor on it and hold the 'z' key which is called 'grab'. You can then move your viewpoint around and the item will move as if held.

The Brotherhood Of Steel (BOS) are located inside one of the bunkers in Hidden Valley. The easiest way to get inside, is to hire Veronica as your companion, who is secretly a member of the BOS. Veronica can be found at 188 Trading Post. Travel to the bunkers with Veronica and she will start talking into the door when you find the right bunker.

On your map it shows you the location but to you it seems like you can't get to him. Well if keep going north past the King who guards the water pipe you will see a large opening that leads to a trainstation then you should beable to go on from there.

You do not have to have a certain level to get it is a down loadable content in fallout 3 game of the year edition you can buy it any where.

P.S do not bring any good guns you want to lose or just don't bring anything to the location of mother ship zeta, and it is just left on your map of Greener pastures disposal site.

The Hoover Dam Key can only be obtained during the quest You'll Know It When It Happens or Arizona Killer. It is obtained from either President Kimble or the NCR Engineer who attempts to assassinate President Kimble.

One is near the entrance to the city on the pipe. There is another one overlooking the ledge from the pub looking down at the general store. The last one should be in the corner opposite diagonally from the entrance to the city.

To become level 31 in Fallout 3, reach level 30 and than use the perk which allows you to level up automatically. This lets you hit 31 and to let you have your stats increase.

It is just a short distance to the west of Old Olny, the door is below a rock outcrop, if you find an old barn you have walked passed it. If you've not found Old Olny then look for it to the East of Clifftop Shacks, or north east of Greener Pastures Disposal site.

Once Scribe Rothchild has given you the task to enter Vault 87. You need to go the Great Chamber in Lamplight Caverns, the main computer terminal (no power) and doorway (locked you need a key) into Vault 87 which you find in the Great Chamber is is red herring, it will not open, you need to find a kid called Mayor MacCready, talk to him and he will open the gate to Murder Pass, this is the way to Vault 87 and lots of Super Mutants to kill on the way through the pass so watch out.

Despite what most people believe, Fallout 3, just like Fallout 1 and 2, have sexual undertones within them. This is an part of the reality of the wastelands, which in several ways address possible situations that an post-apocalypse will probably have, including sexual themes. However, Fallout 3 has an appropriate age rating of mature, and therefore warns you of this in advance.

this is how i got a TON of ammo: go talk to some one with two or more of the same item such as two laser rifles or two sets of combat armor, ect buy the one worth the MOST caps then sell it back, don't worry about losing some money. then buy the cheapest item of the set, then sell it back if you will notice you sell it for allot more caps than you bought it for. you can keep doing this until the ncp is out of caps, then wait 3 in-game days and do it again, which leads you to basically getting as many caps as you want caps, so you can buy all the ammo you need.
