Oleg Protopopov and his wife, Ludmila Belousova won Olympic Gold Medals in Pairs Skating in 1964 and 1968. One person's confusion can mislead them on the ice, and can cause serious injuries to one already with a concussion and those around him or her. This can also damage the actual rink, leading to costly bills and expenses. Unless you want mild injuries, I suggest you avoid ice skating if you have a concussion.

Figure skating is a sport, and you do not need to have any particular education to be a figure skater, though I would recommend getting an education in case the figure skating career doesn't turn out as you had hoped.

He on the other hand does not work as much on jumps or spins as he does choreography. He has choreographed four of my daughters programs and did a wonderful job! I'm a figure skater myslef, and, trust me, every single figure skater has fallen down sometime in their career. It may be the first time they put on a pair of skates, or it may be attempting their first jump. Everybody falls down in figure skating.
