Kyo's mother killed herself when he was a kid and his father said that he was a monster and that it was his fault that his mother killed herself. Ever since then Kyo has been living with Kazuma Sohma, who owns a dojo, where most of the zoadic trained when they were young (mostly Yuki, Haru, and Kyo.)

Why is fruits basket named fruits basket?
Because in the past when Tohru Honda was little, they played a game called Fruits Basket.
In the game, children would sit in a circle, with one less chair than there are players. The child not sitting in a chair is "it" and stands in the middle of the circle. He names everyone by a fruit. When a fruit is called, those of that name would get up and run around and the last person to find a seat is now "it".
Her classmates always told Tohru she was a riceball (Onigiri) and never called on her (since riceballs don't belong in a fruits basket), so she was left out. Tohru never realised she was being bullied by her classmates - she didn't mind though, since she thought riceballs were delicious.
Even when she met the Sohmas, Tohru was still the riceball in the fruits basket because the Sohmas shared a part in their curse and Tohru was only an outsider. It was only when the curse finally broke and she became friends with all the Sohmas that she felt like they finally called the riceball and she was no longer left out.

In the last chapter (as far as I know), it is only shown that Yuki gives Machi a key to his apartment (since he is going to college, far away)...then it skips and suddenly we see what seems to be their granddaughter (son/daughter married kyo and tohru's son/daughter) - I say "seems" since the pictures are never sure, and it is only implied since the little girl is carrying both neko and nezumi (cat and rat) plushies in her hands... *I think this is fanfiction..I read it and I know that they date...
What episode does kyo say that he loves Tohru and not to her face?
Well, in the anime Kyo never says he loves Tohru, but in the manga he does. He says it not to her face in either volume 10, but if not 11. He says he loves her (but not to her face, just in his thoughts) when they're at the beach, and Tohru's in the sand building a sand castle, and Kyo just got back from seeing Akito, who he had a little fight with, and when he sees Tohru, he's thinking "I love her" and stuff like that. Then in one of the later volumes, I forget which, it was a while ago when I read it, he confronts his biological dad and says theres someone he wants to be with. I think that was volume 22 maybe? Or 21...I can't remember, but he does it at somepoint. Maybe it was before then, not sure. But he finally tells her to her face in volume 22.
