Can you keep adult crested gecko with a juvenile crested gecko?

I would strongly recomend that you don't put baby leopard geckos in with adults until they are about 10-12 months of age, depending on the size of your baby. You want to make sure that your baby is able to grow with out stress of possible bullying from more dominant adult geckos. Also depending on the size of your adult gecko it could mistake your baby gecko as food. It isn't uncommon for adult geckos to eat pinkies (baby mice) so it isn't unlikely your adult could attempt to eat or strike at the baby. If your baby is a female it is not safe to introduce her to sexually mature males before she is sexually mature. An early pregnancy is not healty for your new gecko. Leopard geckos mature at about 10-12 months. Males will fight each other once they reach sexual maturity so they should never be put in the cage with an adult male no matter what their age or size.

The role I live by is if the baby is grown enough to eat large super worms and pinkies it should be safe to live with any adult leopard geckos.

How can you tell if a gecko is a girl?

The easiest way to sex a leopard gecko is to check its underside. If it has 2 bulges at the base of the tail and dark spots a little above the base that looks like a triangle without a base than the leopard gecko is a male. If there are no bulges (which are called hemipenial bulges) and you cant see the dark spots (which are called preanal pores), then the leopard gecko is a female. There are also people who say that males are longer and have bigger heads, while females are smaller with smaller heads, but there isnt enough proof to say that that is a true fact.

If they're eating kumquats, they're not "geckos" who eat only bugs and critters; maybe you've got a "chupa-quat" in your yard...take a picture and get an ID.

* Although they are mostly insectivorous, some geckos have been known to include fruit in their diet and to drink nectar. It would, though, be unusual for them to eat so many that it becomes a problem, but it could be possible. Hopefully the questioner can provide more information.
