get several elastic bands , cardboard or plastic , sellotape or something sticky and some safety pins !

tie the elastic bands together and attach paper clips to one end , then put the paper clips on the back of your tee shirt so your gecko is hanging there , attach the plastic and out the sticky stuff on the plastic , hide elastic with arm , act casual and do what you do , make the elastic quite tight so you cant see it ping away , i done this and it was pretty bad so i bought it , i recommend buying it , its worth it and better and you get a ring for it to hope i helped ! :)

yes, when the temperature of his/her environment is changed too quickly a gecko can go into shock. I gave my leopard gecko a bath recently and it was a little too warm, and when I took him out into the cold air, he froze for about a minute. I thought he was dead, but he soon went back to normal. shock can last several minutes. just try to avoid sudden temp change and it'll be fine.

He/She probably hit it on something or has a infection. either way you need to get him to a reptile vet (or 'herp vet' as it is normally called in the breeder and keeper world) as soon as possible. for now the best you can do is make sure it doesnt get worse and that he is eating and drinking.

I used to live in Florida and it would get really damp and cold outside and cockroaches would begin appearing in my house every few days. Most of them were those huge flying palmetto bugs (which I don't think any type of lizard can choke down), but there were some small roaches too. We had always had a little ffamily of geckos that lived outside our house usually hanging around the porch light, sometimes even coming inside. They do eat insects, though I'm not too sure that they would get of an infestation. For the occasional bug seen in your house, the lizards probably get their fair share of meals out of them, but if the roaches are an everyday problem, you may need to call pest control!
