A test cross with a homozygous recessive guinea pig (bb) would reveal the genotype of the black guinea pig. the training process is pretty easy really. what you do is put your mouse at the start of the maze an make a line of cheese going from the start to the finish. do this atleast 2-3 times a training an do this 2 times a day. Every time you do this make the line of treats to the end more and more apart. After about 2 weeks put the mice at the start with no trail of treats in the maze at all. Your mouse should successfully finish the maze.

I had to do this a few months ago. What i did was put the guinea pig i already had in the run on the grass. I then got a washing basket and turned it upside down and put it in the run with the new guinea pig/s underneath it. (hope that makes sence) The washing basket had holess so the guinea pig that is free in the run can sniff the new guinea pig. Watch what the reactions are are keep and eye on them.
