It definitely wasn't Zeus, he was the youngest of the three brothers, Poseidon was the middle child, and Hades was the eldest(oldest) of the three, but they all drew lots and that's how Zeus came to power.

Poseidon was quite happy with the sea but Hades hated getting sent to the Underworld---however, it suited his brooding nature.

Even among the powerful Greek gods, he was to be appeased he suffered not for any choice he made.

The only reason why Hades kidnapped Persephone was because Persephone was a very beautiful women, Hades wanted here for himself. So when Persephone was pick flowers in the meadow she saw a pretty flower so Persephone pulled on the flower it would not budged so she pulled and pulled until it finally gave in and let go. When the flower gave in the ground started to move and out popped Hades in his carriage and kidnapped Persephone

Hades is the Greek translation of the Hebrew word Sheol. Both mean the common grave of mankind. Both death and Hades are thrown into the Lake of Fire according to Revelation 20:13, 14. This happens after the dead are resurrected. The lake of fire means complete and utter destruction. It is not a literal lake of fire because both death and the common grave of mankind cannot be burned. But they can be done away with. This is confirmed by Isaiah 25:8 and John 5:28, 29.

This is a hard question. Hades was often portrayed a cold hearted god of death. However some say he was hero because although he was the god of the underworld he wasn't the god of death - Thanatos was. Hades was in charge of seeing over the delivery of newly deceased souls to their proper places. If you were bad, you'd go to Tartarus - Hell. If you were good you'd go to paradise. Hades was in charge of that, without him our souls would never find rest - in Greek mythology

Bare in mind it is commonly said Hades was forced to become the god of the underworld as punishment by his brother Zeus. So Hades is mostly considered an anti-hero. But others think different
