Harry potter and the goblet of fire starts with harrys dream, with the old caretaker goes to the house in the distance to realise that voldemort and barty couch junior and wormtail and nagini are there and voldemort kills the careetaker thenharry's dream ends and harry is being woken up by hermoine and they all get up and go on a treak in the woods and on the way they meet up with cedric and his dad. they then go to the portkey and get taken to the world cup games! xx

Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare

As the title implies, the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare (which is known in abbreviation as S.P.E.W.) was a failed campaign found by Hermione Granger in 1994 to give the house-elves their rightful salaries, and to eventually set house-elves free.

Cedric Diggory gets killed near the end of the story. Wormtail launches the killing curse. When Dumbledore says that Voldemort killed Cedric, this is basically correct, since Wormtail acted on Voldemort's command.

Barty Crouch died because he had figured out that the "Mad-Eye" Moody that was there was really his son, Barty Crouch Jr. So barty jr. decided to kill his father so nobody else would know he was there and ruin his plan to get Harry to the graveyard for Voldemort.

The hardcover has more pages than the paperback because the text is bigger.
