You can get hedgehogs in some pet stores, but usually those ones are moody and aggressive. I suggest rescuing one. This is easier than it sounds. Email or call the Hedgehog Welfare Society and apply for the adoption list. You can also buy from a breeder. Keep in mind hedgehogs cost a lot of money, and so do their accessories (food, wheel, cage, ect.). A total hedgehog bill will be at about $500 (hedgehogs themselves usually go for $150-$250, unless you adopt or save on, which it is about $50) ALSO keep in mind hedgehogs are ILLEGAL in some states. In which case you must have a permit to own one.
