Africans are renowned for having great endurance... as seen in long distance running. Football being 90 minutes playing time requires alot of endurance as players run up to 12 miles per game. I think it is because they like to run naturally and love to kick balls around. I think it is one of the only forms of entertainment the African's have.

Like the deprived favella kids playing on the streets of Rio, many African kids live in poor areas where football is one of the few fun things they can afford to do. Kids growing up in Ghana or Cameroon probably don't things like MTV and PlayStations to tempt them away from football.

These thin armbands are not about tennis elbow and they are not about things political (racism, bullying, etc.). The thin bands on the upper arms are to put a slight amount of tension on the circulatory system to make the veins and arteries in the arms stand out and thus make the arms appear to be more muscular. Flair. I was a college football player and any sweat bands were worn for reasons purely aesthetic. You sweat to much for them to be effective. Look good, feel good, play good. Defensive Backs, Wide Receivers, and Running Backs generally put the most stock in their flair. I was an Offensive Lineman so if I wore flair it was usually over the top and in practice as a joke.

As far as I can tell, 30 wins, 34 losses and no ties. I checked nfl.com's standings split by "Home" for 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 and looked at the Texans' record for each year and it added up to 30-34-0.

The Houston Texans were an expansion team. They started from scratch. They weren't another team that moved to Houston.

The Houston Oilers were the original pro football team in Houston. They moved to Tennessee and became the Titans.

I am not positive on this answer but I think it is Herman Johnson from LSU/Arizona Cardinals. When he was drafted in the 2009 NFL draft he weight in at 364lbs. and is 6'7". When he started with LSU he was above 400lbs. He is currently listed at 382lbs. from the Cardinals website. His weight may not be the highest weight ever seen in the pros and i know he is not the tallest ever, but, combined that makes him one of the biggest, maybe biggest, pro football player.
