well sorry to say but you cant change the coat unless you have a G.A. (golden apple) or you make a coat with the B.P. ( black pearl)
How do you get to the safe heaven on howrse?
To get to the Safe Haven, go under the Breeding tab and click Office. Once there, there will be three tabs. One with News, My Affixes, and the last one is the Safe Haven. I hope this helps and Happy Howrsing!
How do you get wandering horses on Howrse?
You dont neccisarily 'make' your own pasture on Howrse. You have to go to the 'Equestrian Centre' page and then go to the market from there. From there you will see a tab labeled meadows. (Or something close to that). You have to buy your meadows for the horses at your EC. If you are talking about the meadows you put your own horses in, it works the same way. How do you get stars on Howrse?
If you breed 100 BLUP, high GP horses together generation after generation, eventually one of your foals will be born with the potential to gain more than 100 points in one of its skills areas. This marks a point in excellence and shows that you as a breeder have really surpassed yourself in producing a top quality horse. So you get a green star to show for your efforts. The green star will show up in a new box called 'Excellence' which appears next to the Genetics tab. Keep on breeding like this and eventually you will produce foal with 110.01 in Stamina, and he will then have TWO green stars and so on. It is possible for the horse to gain green stars in more than one skill.
You can calculate how much Gentic Potential your foal will have by doing the following:
Work out the average - add the parents figures together, then divide by two. And then add 1.2 gain for proper GP games.
The inborn skills and the gain in skills during lessons are not included in the genetic potential. So, a horse's skills may exceed the values indicated in its genetic potential.
What could pegasus do that a normal horse could not do?
Not much. The only difference is that it has wings, a normal horse does not.
Can you create a breed on Howrse?
No.
The only way to get a Pegasus, is to buy Medusa's blood and give it to one of your foals/horses/ponies. Medusa's blood only works once.
You can also buy a Pegasus in the Sales, found under breeding. You need to be over 20 days old on the site though.

How do you remove the feathers on a pegasus on Howrse?
If you have a pegasus, go to its page. On the bottom right corner, there's a little green tag saying 'actions'. Underneath, it says 'remove a feather'. However, If you remove a feather, your pegasus will lose its wings, so think carefully.

First, you will need to purchase at least 25 units of dung from the Equestrian Center shop. 25 units of dung will make one bag of manure.
Then go to the pasture page of your Equestrian Center, and click the "Produce Manure" button. Then it will walk you through the next few steps!

Where is the Safe Heaven in Howrse?
The Safe Haven is a paradise for horses that are no longer wanted or needed, where they can live out their days in peace.
You can place a horse there by going breeding> my horses>then clicking the horse you wish to send to the safe haven> once you are on that horses page, click the plus symbol beside their name> choose sell> place in the safe haven> you will be paid 400 eqqus.
To get to the safe haven click breeding> my office> the safe haven; once there you can pat one of three horses to get a reward, you can do this once a day.

By going to the black market, under the breeding tab, you can read descriptions of all the BM items. The HoP gives a surprise when opened -anything from equus to other bm items.
You can buy it at the Black market, find it all over howrse or you can get it at "my achevements"
Go to the Black Market, click Horn of Plenty then click use from my stock.
Go to the Black Market, click on "Horn of Plenty", press "Purchase with a Horn of Plenty from your stock, then press "Validate"
Got to the shop. There should be an inventory on the right side. Click Black market, on inventory. Click the horn of plenty. Then use these steps.

Groom:40-70 equus per day, raise can go up to 100 equus, keeps your stable clean
Riding Instructor:50-80 equus per day, raise can go up to 110 equus, increases the equus you get off of your center's lessons
Vet:60-90 equus per day, raise can go up to 120 equus, makes the stable living conditions get better and lowers the price of foaling a mare who is boarded there
Blacksmith:70-100 equus per day, raise can go up to 130 equus, does the horseshoes of your boarders
Saddler:80-160 equus per day, raise can go up to 190 equus, lets your boarders be able to fix and clean that howrse's tack in the saddlery
You need to hire at least one of each of these to be a good center though!
How do you transfer a Howrse to a different breeding farm on Howrse?
To transfer your horse to another breeding farm on howrse, you must first make a breeding farm (requires 3 karma points.) Then you select the horse you would like to move, and there should be a little arrow thingamee on the top of the page, next to icons like rename or sell this horse. Click on it, and then click on your breeding farm. Your equid's breed will be updated.
When is a mare too old to breed on howrse?
If you want to know who to breed your mare on howrse.com:You can breed your mare whenever you want but it has to be 3 years or over to mate. If you do decide to breed your mare then you have to click Coverings and then find a horse you want the father to be. It will cost you around 200e to cover your mare. At birth you also have to pay the vet 500e so keep around 800e in your account.

Do you mean what do you do to be able to take riding level 3? Well, you have to be registered for 30 days. You can then open up your own Equistian Centre. Also called an EC. Hopefully this answered your question. :P
How do you plant carrots on howrse?
Once you have a meadow to grow crops on for your EC and you have 2 carrot seeds and it's the right season, choose a meadow to grow on and check the box next to it and then click the plus sign at the very bottom and click 'Use the selected meadows for a farm.' Then choose carrots and click Grow Crops.

You used to be able to have a breeding parter on Howrse; you could just add them by visiting their page and send a request but now, in 2013 December, Howrse has made the VIP ACCOUNTS. (10 Passes per month)
With a VIP account you are able to make Teams.
Requriements to have a VIP account are:
To be either in the 50th Top Ranking, Breeders Ranking, Equestrain Ranking
OR, have bought over 100 passes on howrse.
Teams can have from 2 to 20 people. Only VIP players are capable of making Teams. NON-VIPS's can enter if they are invited by the VIP Team Owner
(Although you may have to pay them additional equus or passes to get access as being in a high ranked team induces your popularity in ranking and breeding)
'Fake Teams' are known all around Howrse. People who are not invited into Teams and cannot buy the VIP account make their own breeding groups with other players like themselves. This is much easier and money efficient, however you dont get as many options in breeding as you would in the VIP
EXAMPLE:
Being in a VIP Team allows you to share your horses with your breeding partners (for three days per horse, until owner shares their horse again)
This is a good aspect, as your Team players can breed, skill and blup your horse if you're oversease or you just want to breed.
