They've created such a supply chain which is efficient as well as saves a lot of tax money for them. Apple has strategic partnerships with many companies from Taiwan, Japan and China, some supplies the LCD, some supplies other sensors. All the components are shipped to China, where two companies Foxconn and Pegatron have been granted contracts to assemble the Apple products, especially the iPhone and ship them to various distributors around the world.
