Angelo Zoli semi-auto 12 gauge in need of repair however no one that I have talked to has ever heard of a Semi-Auto can you help?

Well

my friend. I owned one of them once and I too could not get it to work consistently at all either. Me and a gunsmith worked on it for over two years. We concluded that..."they just don't work"....despite looking to be well made. I did have some success firing 3 inch shell through it....You may get 6 or 7 in a row for it jams. I really felt bad too cause it was a handsome gun, easy to shoot and had good killing power...just couldn't get it to work consistently. I sold it to the gunsmith after it frustrated me too much....Parts are very hard to come by.

Depending on shape - it was built 1940, if in excellent shape upwards of $400 - fair shape $250, and everything in between

P webley 450 caliber revolver. This gun was made around the 1850's and was Dr Watson's issued police gun. Can you tell me if thatcould be true?

I have one that was also claimed to be Dr Watson's so the only way to ID would be to send the serial number to Scotland Yard. I will bet everyone that owns a P.Webly and sons have been told the same story.

In truth, Watson likely wouldn't have been carrying a police or police issue weapon. He acquired his sidearm when he entered the armed forces as a medical officer and was shipped out to Afghanistan. Officers at the time were expected to purchase their own firearms, and there were several popular models.

The young Doctor Watson most likely purchased a Second Model Adams .450, the same model the military was issuing to enlisted men but with a shorter barrel, lighter and easier to carry for a man more concerned with his medical kit than his sidearm. In his writings he refers to an "Eley No. 2" round for this weapon, which was probably simply a name change for the Adams Mark II rounds he was actually using.

Now, as to the Webley you have. The story you've heard is confused. It's not Watson's gun. However, it may be quite similar in origin to the gun carried by Sherlock Holmes himself. Holmes, having never served in the military and being intimately involved in the criminal justice system, would likely have carried a police gun. From Dr. Watson's descriptions of Holmes' weapon, and the time he likely acquired it, the gun is almost certainly a Webley Metropolitan Police solid frame revolver. It's a small gun, with a very short barrel, easily concealed, with the M-P manacled hands logo on the frame and a police number on the side, which Holmes would probably have filed off. It's a light and fast gun, but remarkably accurate for a snub-nose, and in the hands of a master like Holmes would be deadly indeed.

What is the value of a Interarms 22 22 Mag Virginian revolver?

50-100 USD

This price really just depends where you are. A 22 mag revolver for 100 bucks.....ya, I don't know where you would find one. The cheapest your going to find a revolver of this style in the NW is around 300 plus. A little less for a LR 22 revolver. You can also check a few of the online gun auction sites to get a better idea of the value........All that said, if you want to sell it for 50-100 bucks, I'll buy it.

How much is a Ithaca model 49 magnum 22 rifle worth?

I have the original one my Dad bought me for my 13th birthday in 1962. Apx. 500,000 model 49's were made and of those apx. less than 125,000 were magnums. The magnum is rare. I see the LR model going for $225 in auction sites. When a magnum comes up I have seen them go for anywhere from $375 to $700 depending on how bad someone wants it. I routinely have offers for mine when I take it to the range to shoot it. $500 is a good number that gets kicked around when they make offers. I will never sell my model 49 .22 magnum. Replacing it and the nostalgic memories would be irreplaceable. If you are trying to figure out the age of your model 49 by the serial number mine is a six digit serial number and it starts with 146XXX. That was from 1962. Don't bother calling Ithaca in Ohio or Diamond Gunsmithing in NY to ask them. They don't have the history of the serial numbers either. To gestimate the age of one just watch the blogs and see what other owners say was the original purchase date of theirs and what the serial number is. That will give you a general time line of it's build date.I can add that the Ithaca model 49 saddle gun was made from 1961-1978.The model 49R which was a pump action rifle was made from 1965-1971,the model 49 presentation which had a gold plated trigger was made from 1962-1974.

12 gauge double barrel hammerless shotgun all it says is eureka gun co with number 25920 what year would it be and value?

I understand Eureka Gun Co. shotguns were ''trade-name'' guns made by Hopkins & Allen Arms Co. between ~1902-1914. This I got from internet links.

In my opinion, I do not believe they are worth much relatively speaking.

I myself own my grandfather's Eureka 12 ga s/n 25691 which needs the top lever spring which is missing presumably because it broke.

Your m1911 a1 has a uss slide but an Ithaca serial Why?

if they were war time mfg'd it was common practice to disassemble guns in the field and dump them all in a pot of boiling water to clean them. the parts were then put together with dis-regard to matching slide with frame. this held true when I was in Korea in 1951. now you can see how a USS slide is found on a Ithaca frame......

What is the value of an Ithaca-SKB Model 700 Trap?

Go to www.gunbroker.com See what comparable condition pistols are going for. The gun market is off the charts right now, so if you are looking to sell, now might be a good time. Don't bother with a printed price guide, particularly at this moment in history. That data is a year old.
