The Winchester Model 37 was not serialized. Production was from 1936 - 1963. The GCA (Gun Control Act) of 1968 mandated that all new firearms manfactured in, or imported to, the United States be serialized. Value is greatly depended upon condition not stated and firearm configuration also not stated IE brl leng, type of forearm, type of stock, ejcectors or extractors, and finnally grade of shotgun (grades 1-7). Serial number stated suggests that it is a Lewis model made in 1901.

As always, the answer is "It depends". Price is related to the condition of the gun, age of the gun, any special features it might have, and the current demand. All that being said - a standard model 37 12 GA Ithaca shotgun, in good condition, usually sells for around $350. You might want to monitor www.gunbroker.com and see what a comparable gun is going for.

I've seen them sell at auction for $25 and private for $165.

Remington Rand 1911 value

The value of ANY firearm is based on exact make and model, and condition. If you have a military issue 1911A1 pistol made by Remington Rand, the values can be quite high- but again, based on condition of the gun, matching magazine, etc. An original in excellent condition could have a value measured in thousands of dollars- one that has been chrome plated at the local bumper shop is worth about $200. You will REALLY need a hands-on appraisal from someone that knows collectible 1911s.

A check of completed auctions for Remington Rand 45 pistols shows sales ranging from about $950-$100 for pistols in "Good" condition, up to $2,400 for a pistol is 98% new condition ("Excellent" grading) One in "Fair" condition may sell for $650-$750.
