What is the value of a JC Higgins 22 cal pellet rifle model 126 - 19301 in good condition?
This is a two part answer for you. First the Rifle was made by Crosman air guns. Any JC Higgins air gun starting with 126 was made by Crosman any model starting with 799 was made by Daisy air gun.
My Catalog list the 126-1930 as a Crosman 140/1400 the 1400 was a later model of the 140. This makes me think that the 1930(1) represents the 1400 model (Check Youtube and look for a Crosman 1400 and see if this is your model). If So then the rifle is worth around. $75 plus or minus. The 1400 rifle was made between 1968-78. Its a pump rifle that shoots a .22 cal pellet at 580 feet per second.

Imported by FI from the late 1960s to 1971. This was made in .22 LR, .22 magnum, .410 shotgun, and a 22/.410 over/under. Stock is somewhat fragile, being an aluminum alloy casting, barrel is steel. Interesting little rifle, shoots well.

i have a model 103.229 and in perfect condition its only worth about $100, i would guess its about the same quote for yours as well.
I'd stay with standard velocity ammo which it was designed for.
Given what I just paid for mine, the same model manufactured the same year,I'd say about $300. That's with a shiny bore, rust-free metal, and a customized grip.

There never really was a 'JC Higgins Firearms.' That was a brand name used by Sears on guns that were made for them by various manufacturers such as High Standard, Savage and Winchester.
The JC Higgins Model 80 was actually made by High Standard for Sears, and is the same as the M101 Duramatic pistol. Made from 1957 through 1961/62. These can be bought on the use marked for $200-$250.
What is the value of a jc Higgins model 583.24 sears roebuck and co 16 ga?
The JC Higgins 583.24 is a bolt-action shotgun made by High Standard for Sears in 1954/1955. It should have an adjustable choke. Value on bolt-action shotguns is minimal, around $100-$125.
How do you change the choke on a 12 gauge J C Higgins shotgun?
You don't give us the model, so it is hard to answer the question. Assuming the gun does not have an obvious adjustable choke, the choke is probably not easily adjustable. A gunsmith can open the choke (from Full to Modified for example) or can install internal interchangeable choke tubes (costs around $125).
