It will depend on what whiskey/whisky you're specifically referring to and is especially dependent on the alcohol content. Crown Royal (80 proof) freezes at approximately -13°F. Something stronger like Wild Turkey 101-and God help you if that's your drink of choice-will freeze even lower than that, perhaps -30 or -40°F.
